Video - The twins morning routine
Normally the boys wake up at 0530 in the morning at the same time . It’s surely a good alarm clock for both of us as we usually prepare both the girls to school at 0615 am . The boys will have their morning feed soon after and will have tummy time for an hour before their bath time . I normally bathe them since Dr Halina has to leave to work early and my time is more flexible . I feel they are easy babies and easy to take care as long as we follow our routine . Adam can be grumpy if his milk is given 5 minutes late .
Raising boys vs girls are different even from a very young age . Each gender’s brain and growth unfold at a different rate .
Baby Boys tend to feed more on milk , they wiggle & kick more , they are late talkers and surprisingly baby boys are more emotional and difficult to soothe down compared to girls . Boys also express fear later than girls .
Baby girls in other hand are better listeners , love face time and identifying individual faces , good with their hands and faster to manipulate toys compared to boys .
Girls are better listeners too which explains why boys are harder to discipline . But by the age of 5 years boys tend to catch up with their counterparts .
There are many more differences and it’s important for parents to be aware of these traits to help in parenting . But of course these are just general guidelines as every child is different . And it’s surely good to know ....
PS - And I feel girls walk earlier than boys too but Dr Halina disagrees . Anyone out there to back me up ?
