➥【了解不同物種細胞膜受體ACE2的分布圖譜有助探討SARS-CoV-2的傳播模式】:SARS-CoV-2藉由與哺乳類動物細胞膜上的ACE2受體結合而進入細胞造成感染。
中國研究團隊分析了多種哺乳類動物的ACE2序列及其在不同組織的分布及表現情形,物種包含人類、與人親近的寵物、家畜及實驗動物(貓、狗、豬、牛、羊、兔子、倉鼠、小鼠及大鼠)、雪貂、老虎、蝙蝠及穿山甲。
整體而言,ACE2的分布具物種(species)及組織(tissue)特異性。ACE2在人類多種組織都有其分布,其中以睪丸表現量最高,小腸及心臟次之。除了小鼠及大鼠外,這些動物的ACE2在基因序列及胜肽構造上都與人類的ACE2高度相似,顯示其做為SARS-CoV-2潛在宿主的可能性。
而其中又以貓狗的ACE2與人類最相近,再加上貓狗皮膚組織ACE2表現量極高,意味著這些家裡的寵物很容易感染SARS-CoV-2或是做為中間宿主,彼此經由皮膚與皮膚的接觸傳播病毒。因此飼主應小心保護貓狗寵物,使其不被COVID-19病患或流浪貓狗傳染病毒。
此外,ACE2在豬、牛、羊及兔子的許多組織也高度表現,如腎臟、肝臟(但在肌肉表現量較低),值得注意的是,ACE2在豬的脂肪組織表現量也很高。這些觀察顯示家畜食材,特別是內臟器官,也有可能成為含有病毒的汙染源。
