• Fyre豪華音樂節的起源
Fyre Festival的創辦人是年僅26歲的天才企業家 Billy McFarland和饒舌歌手 Ja Rule，舉辦於2017年4月27日。以與世隔絕的私人島、超模、著名樂隊、遊艇、小型飛機等的奢華音樂體驗為噱頭。
參加者會有私人飛機接送進出島，住宿可選擇奢侈帳篷或島上別墅，入場票從1500美金起，VIP套票更高於12000美金！

• Fyre 的虛實包裝
Billy是個推銷天才，可以說服任何人愛上他的產品。
當時創辦人重金禮聘邀請頂尖名模在各大社群媒體宣傳。
@fyrefestival的ig直到現在還有6.1萬個followers 。
這麼成功的行銷的確大增了團隊及參與者的期望。

• 問題一個接一個
團隊在策劃期間發現了住宿、飛機的航班、伙食，資金運用等問題。
在活動的前兩個月，才更改地址，決定在大埃克蘇馬上舉行。
可是，音樂節遇上當地的帆船節，所有酒店都被訂滿，團隊只好詢問當地人借出房子來充當他們的「豪華別墅」。

• 現實版的Fyre
當地在活動前一天下雨，所有床墊被浸濕。
參加者到達場地後，只看見荒涼簡陋；泥地、未搭建好的舞台、未完成的住宿營地，沒有名模也沒有樂團演出。只有簡陋餐盒及溼透的床墊。
缺乏物質下，每個人都急著搶物資，成了真人版飢餓遊戲。
當地的工人更拿不到薪水圍著團隊，此刻的Billy消失得無影無蹤。 最後，參加者滯留島上數天才能離開。

• Billy最終被判監禁6年，賠償2600萬美元
Kendall Jenner、Emily Ratajkowksi、Migos、Blink-182、Lily Yachty，等多位名人，也因代言「Fyre Festival」被正式起訴。

矽谷血檢公司 Theranos 遭人踢爆造假已過了五年，創辦人 Elizabeth Holmes 正在接受詐欺罪的審判，Elizabeth Holmes 正在提出她可能患有精神疾病的證據，試圖影響判決。回顧 Theranos 的崛起和衰敗，與 Fyre Festival 音樂節的騙局極為相似：掌舵者執迷不悟朝著自己勾勒出的願景全速前進，不願意相信組織已失控的事實，最後迎來大災難的結局，也讓我們看到了 “Fake it until you make it” 這種信念的極端狀況。

而遠距工作越來越普及，科技公司們也抱持不同的看法，最近正反兩方的代表分別是房地產科技公司 Zillow 和 影音串流公司 Netflix。Netflix 的 CEO Reed Hastings 在接受華爾街日報訪談時表示，在家工作沒有任何好處，沒辦法直接面對面交流是很負面的體驗。而 Zillow 的人資長在另一個訪問中提到，Zillow 正在從無法接受遠距工作的文化轉型成擁抱遠距工作的文化，也在研擬疫情和緩後，讓員工持續遠距工作的方針和具體措施。針對員工最在乎的薪水是否根據遠距工作地點調整，他也表示公司的政策應該著重於資源的分配，讓遠距和非遠距工作員工都有公平的薪資水準和福利。

【#音樂節騙案】Kendall Jenner涉嫌詐欺！賠償 9 萬美金！

有「史上最大音樂節騙案」、就連 Netflix 也為它拍攝紀錄片的 Fyre Festival 被指貨不對版的官司，近日終於有判決，而身為音樂節代言人、同被列為被告的的 Kendall Jenner 被判賠償 9萬美金！

事件追溯至 2017 年，#FyreFestival 以奢華音樂節之名，找來 #KendallJenner、Bella Hadid、Hailey Bieber 等多位時尚超模為活動宣傳，吸引民眾以巨額入場費參加活動。結果，主辦方在活動當日人間蒸發，一個主打豪華的音樂節即時變成缺水缺糧的「災難級難民營」，被參加者集體提告！

根據 《WWD》的報導，被告之一、收取了 27萬美金作代言費的 Kendall Jenner 有欺騙大眾之嫌，其代言費是由非法詐欺資金而來，需賠償 9萬美金。而 Kendall Jenner 本人則堅稱當初只為支持新活動，對 Fyre Festival 內裡的操作全不知情，非存心欺騙大眾！
