🇪🇺歐盟理事會主席米歇爾（Charles Michel）、🇪🇺歐盟執委會主席馮德萊恩（Ursula von der Leyen）與🇺🇸美國總統拜登（Joe Biden）6/15舉行「歐美峰會」並於會後聯合聲明 #首度強調 #台海和平與穩定 的重要 ，鼓勵以和平方式解決兩岸議題。

這顯示台海和平已獲得美國、日本、澳洲、歐盟等主要全球民主國家的高度共識，也再次印證台灣海峽的和平穩定，對於促進「自由與開放的印太區域」極具關鍵。
外交部樂見美國及歐盟等民主陣營的重要夥伴，持續高度關注台海和平穩定遭受片面蓄意破壞的現況，也再度呼籲中國政府立即停止任何藉由軍事武力手段對台灣構成的威脅與恫嚇。

MOFA is grateful to the #EU and the #US for their joint statement following their recent summit in Brussels, underscoring the importance of peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait and opposing unilateral attempts to change the status quo in the East and South China Seas.
The statement also expressed concerns regarding the ongoing human rights violations in #Xinjiang and #Tibet and the erosion of autonomy and democratic processes in Hong Kong, as well as PRC tactics that undermine regional security, like economic coercion and disinformation campaigns.
The EU-US summit was held on 15 June, 2021, marking the beginning of a renewed transatlantic partnership and setting a joint agenda for EU-US cooperation in the post-pandemic era.
