Relevant prevention measures for the upcoming semester of the Office of Academic Affairs

各位好:
因應嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎疫情發展,除校方發布各項防疫措施外,有關教學及其相關申辦業務,請各單位依據以下措施配合辦理:
一、110-1學期開學後前三週全面採遠距教學,授課教師應將上課網址及課程相關訊息公告於課程大綱 (有關NTU COOL課程網頁如何設為公開,詳見 https://www.dlc.ntu.edu.tw/2021/09/09/visibility/ )。實驗、實作或人數較少的研究所課程若需採實體授課,須依以下規範辦理:
(一) 落實課堂點名並禁止在教室內飲食。
(二) 上課教室應保持通風良好及定時清消。
(三) 全程配戴口罩,並維持安全社交距離 (1.5米或2.25平方米)。
(四)於110年9月24日前提出申請送教務處核定:申請表詳見課務組公告 https://www.space.ntu.edu.tw/navigate/s/CB679CFFA6134C83B4964E40A30A460AQQY
二、開學後第四週起上課方式,修課人數80人(含)以上課程採遠距教學,80人以下以實體課程為原則,特殊情形請於110年10月12日前提出申請送教務處核定:申請表詳見課務組公告 https://www.space.ntu.edu.tw/navigate/s/CB679CFFA6134C83B4964E40A30A460AQQY
(一) 採實體授課者,仍須依前述防疫規範辦理。
(二)本校鼓勵教師以數位和實體並行的混成方式進行教學準備,詳細資訊請見數習中心網站: https://www.dlc.ntu.edu.tw/2021/09/08/blended-teaching/
三、本學期加退選、停修彈性做法如下:
(一) 解除擋修、超修及減修申請書: 老師及系主任可親簽或用郵件代替簽名,請同學將申請書及相關同意證明以email寄至所屬教務單位承辦人。
(二) 開學後第一、二週加退選:
1.第1、3類方式加選:照舊(上網登記分發)。
2.第2類方式加選(授權碼): 建議老師可用信件傳遞授權碼予學生加選,並記錄學號留存,以利日後查核。
(三) 開學後第三週人工加選及停修:老師及系主任可親簽或用郵件代替簽名,請同學將申請書及相關同意證明,合併成1個pdf檔上傳至教務處。上傳網址將再另行公告。
(四) 因本學期前3週皆採遠距授課,同學在加退選期間若有加簽或聽課需求,請主動聯繫授課老師。

Dear NTU community members,
Given the current pandemic situation, the University is asking all academic and administrative units to comply with the following measures regarding teaching and learning for the upcoming semester despite the epidemic prevention measures released by the school:
A. All courses shall adopt distance learning in the first three weeks since 110-1 semester. Teachers shall announce course URL and relevant information on course description.(If you want to set the visibility of your course page on NTU COOL to be public, please see this document: https://www.dlc.ntu.edu.tw/2021/09/09/visibility/ ) If experiments, hands-on course,graduate courses with fewer people,wish to give physical course, please follow the measures listed below:
1. Teachers shall do the roll call, while eating and drinking in the classroom is forbidden.
2. Classrooms shall be cleansed and disinfected regularly, while kept ventilated.
3. Face masks must be worn throughout, while social distancing shall be maintained (e.g., 1.5 meters or 2.25 square meters).
4. Please submit an application form ( https://www.space.ntu.edu.tw/navigate/s/CB679CFFA6134C83B4964E40A30A460AQQY ) to the Office of Academic Affairs before September 24th.
B. In principle, 80 or above people selecting a course shall adopt distance learning from the fourth week of 110-1 semester. Courses under 80 people will be in-person classes. In special cases, please fill out this application form ( https://www.space.ntu.edu.tw/navigate/s/CB679CFFA6134C83B4964E40A30A460AQQY ) before October 12th.
1. In-person class shall comply with the regulations listed above.
2. Teachers are encouraged to adopt a blended teaching approach -a combination of online learning and in-person class - to prepare the courses. For more information, please see the website of Digital Learning Center: https://www.dlc.ntu.edu.tw/2021/09/08/blended-teaching/
C. The flexible measures of this semester for adding, dropping, and withdrawing classes are as follows.
1. The “Unblock Course Request Form”, “Course Overload Request Form”, and “Course Underload Request Form”:
The lecturer and the director may sign these request forms in person or reply by email to these request forms to indicate their approval of the request. Please email the request form and the proof for approval to the contact person in the Office of Academic Affairs.
2. Adding and dropping classes in the first and second week of this semester:
(1) . Adding classes in the first and the third category:
The process is as usual. Students may register for classes online.
(2). The second category (adding classes with a permission number):
It is recommended that the lecturer email a permission number to students and record the student number for future verification.
3. Adding or withdrawing classes in the third week of this semester:
The lecturer and the director may sign the application form in person or reply by email to the application form to indicate their approval of the request. Please combine the application form and the proof for approval into a single PDF and upload it to the Office of Academic Affairs. The website address for uploading the file will be announced separately.
4. Because online teaching is conducted during the first three weeks of this semester, if students want to add or attend the classes during the period, they need to contact the lecturer.

[Recipe] Easy Matcha Coconut Chestnut Kueh Pudding 抹茶椰子布丁粿 🍵 🌴
Not sure if you have tried Kuih Tako- a Thai two-layer dessert comprising of coconut milk and pandan served in a squarish pandan leaf box. It is typically filled with water chestnuts which brings about a refreshing crunchiness.
Here I am giving it a spin by using Japanese green tea instead of Pandan—not only saving the time for extracting Pandan juice but the bittersweet tea taste also makes it less cloying. Texture wise, it falls between a pudding and a Kueh. For the water chestnuts, I use Milli water chestnuts which makes preparation more convenient without compromising on the quality. No sugar is added to the coconut milk layer, but feel free to add them if you like it sweeter. You can also make this in glasses besides jelly mold
Ingredients (makes 16 jellies) :
Set A Coconut layer:
200ml Kara low fat coconut milk
100ml low fat milk
25g mung bean flour
1/4 tsp salt
Set B Matcha Layer:
5pcs Milli Water Chestnuts
10g matcha
25g mung bean flour
35g sugar
250ml water
Steps:
Combine Set A ingredients in a pot and stir well. Heat and whisk till thicken. Pour into jelly molds, filling them only halfway.
Cut water chestnuts into dices and fill them on the cooled coconut layer
Combine Set B ingredients in a pot and stir well. Heat and whisk till thicken. Pour into the jelly molds to fill as the remaining half.
Chill in fridge for 3-4 hours. Unmold and serve

孕期健脾去水腫湯
水腫是其中一個孕婦最關心的課題,最怕陀B時身形肥腫難分,有些孕媽媽雙腳水腫嚴重到只能穿拖鞋。從中醫角度來看,水腫是很常見的妊娠症狀,多為脾虛、腎虛所致,脾虛不能運化水濕,引致水腫,亦有因為氣鬱阻滯引起,用手指按下去,皮膚凹陷處不會立即回復,表示有水腫情況。一般去水腫食材屬性偏寒涼,不適合孕媽媽們食用,懷孕期間宜食用屬性平和的眉豆、赤小豆、淮山、茯苓、扁豆衣及陳皮,有助紓緩水腫。如果水腫集中在雙腳,除了飲用去水腫湯水,睡覺時用枕頭墊起雙腳也有幫助。
食材小貼士:
眉豆性平,有健脾和胃功效,適合脾胃虛弱引起的消化不良、腹脹等症狀。適合各類體質包括痛風人士食用。注意容易便秘人士不宜多食。
節瓜淮山眉豆湯
功效:健脾祛濕安胎,紓緩身體經常感覺疲倦、四肢困重、水腫等症狀。
材料:節瓜2個、新鮮淮山1根、粟米1根、赤小豆30克、眉豆30克、腰果40克、茯苓20克、陳皮1角
做法:
1. 所有材料洗淨,節瓜及鮮淮山去皮切塊,粟米去衣留鬚切段備用。
2. 鍋中加入2000毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,調文火煮1.5小時,最後下鹽調味即可。

Soup to relieve water retention during pregnancy
Water retention is one of pregnant moms’ major concerns. They are afraid they cannot tell the difference between weight gain and water retention. In some cases, their water retention problem becomes so severe that they can only wear slippers.
From the perspective of Chinese Medicine, water retention is common among pregnant moms due to their weak spleen and kidneys. When the spleen is incapable of circulating fluid in the body, water retention happens. The stagnation of qi could also be one of the causes. If we experience water retention, we can press on an area with our finger and find that the indentation on that part of the skin would remain indented for some time.
Most of the ingredients used to relieve water retention are cool in nature, and they are not suitable for pregnant moms. It is best to consume ingredients that are mild in nature, such as black-eyed pea, rice bean, Chinese yam, poria, hyacinth bean coat, and dried citrus peel, as they can relieve the condition. If your water retention issue is concentrated at your feet, you should drink the right soup and sleep with your legs elevated by cushioning them with a stack of pillows.
Tips on ingredient:
Black-eyed peas can strengthen the spleen and stomach. Relieves indigestion and stomach bloating due to asthenic spleen and stomach. Suitable for all body types, but not for those prone to constipation. Suitable for people with gout.
Hairy gourd and Chinese yam soup with black-eyed peas
Effects:
Ingredients: 2 hairy gourds, 1 fresh Chinese yam, 1 corn, 30g rice bean, 30g black-eyed peas, 40g cashew nuts, 20g poria, 1 dried citrus peel
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Cut the peeled hairy gourd and Chinese yam into pieces. Remove husks from corn and cut into pieces.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2000ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1.5 hour. Add salt to taste.

作り方:
1.鍋に湯を沸かし、塩を入れ、沸騰したらパスタを入れ、表示時間より1分早くパスタを取り出す。
2.ミキサーにAを入れてペーストにする。
3.フライパンにベーコンを入れ、油を引かずに炒める。
4.(3)に(1)、(2)を加え全体を和え、塩で味を調えととのえる。(水分が少なく、和えにくい場合は、パスタのゆで汁を大さじ1〜2程加える。)
5.器に盛り、粗びき黒コショウ、大葉(細切り)、粉チーズを散らしてエキストラバージンオリーブオイルをかけて完成!
■大葉と鶏むね肉の揚げない春巻き
8個分
材料:
鶏むね肉(スティック状に8等分に切る)1枚
大葉 16枚
春巻きの皮 8枚
スライスチーズ(8等分にしておく)2枚
アボカド(1cmの角切り)1/2個
酒 大さじ1
しょうゆ 小さじ1
薄力粉(のり用)大さじ1
水(のり用)小さじ2
塩 少々
粗びき黒コショウ 少々
サラダ油 大さじ4
A七味唐辛子 小さじ1/2
Aマヨネーズ 大さじ2
Aしょうゆ 小さじ1
作り方:
1.ボウルに鶏むね肉を入れ塩、粗びき黒コショウを全体にまぶし、酒、しょうゆを加え10分ほど漬け、ラップをしたら600Wの電子レンジで火が通るまで、3分加熱する。
2.薄力粉(のり用)、水(のり用)を混ぜておく。
3.春巻きの皮のうえに、大葉、スライスチーズ、アボカド、(1)の順にのせてしっかり巻き、巻き終わりを(2)でしっかりとめる。
4.大きめのフライパンにサラダ油を引き、春巻きの皮がこんがりときつね色になるまで焼く。
5.小皿にBを混ぜ、(4)を器に盛って、完成!

◆Perilla Pesto Pasta
Servings: 2
INGREDIENTS
A
30 perilla leaves
40g walnuts
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons grated cheese
100ml olive oil
1 tablespoon salt
Some black pepper
40g bacon (cut into 1cm pieces)
Some black pepper
2 perilla leaves (sliced)
Some parmesan cheese (or cheese powder)
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
180g pasta
Some salt
PREPARATION
1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add salt. Cook pasta 1 minute less than the recommended time on the pasta package.
2. Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Process until smooth.
3. Cook bacon pieces in a pan.
4. Add cooked pasta (1) and perilla pesto (2) into the pan (3). Season with salt. (You can add 1 to 2 tablespoons of pasta water if needed.)
5. Place the pasta on a plate. Put black pepper, sliced perilla leaves, parmesan cheese, and extra virgin olive oil on top.
6. Enjoy!
◆Perilla And Chicken Non-Fried Spring Rolls
Servings: 8 rolls
INGREDIENTS
1 chicken breast (cut into 8 long pieces)
16 perilla leaves
8 spring roll wrappers
2 sliced cheese (cut into 8 pieces)
1/2 avocado (cut into 1cm pieces)
1 tablespoon sake
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon flour (for sealing rolls)
2 teaspoons water (for sealing rolls)
Some salt
Some black pepper
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
B
1/2 teaspoon shichimi
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon soy sauce
PREPARATION
1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper in a bowl. Add sake and soy sauce, marinate for 10 minutes. Wrap the bowl with a food wrap and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes (until cooked).
2. Mix flour and water in a small bowl (for sealing rolls).
3. Place perilla leaves, a piece of cheese and avocado, and the chicken (1) on a spring roll wrapper. Roll it and seal with potato starch mix (2). Make 8 rolls.
4. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan. Cook rolls until golden.
5. Mix all B ingredients to make dipping sauce.
6. Serve spring rolls with the sauce (5).
7. Enjoy!

鮭とバジルソースのパイ包み
4人分
材料:
バジルソース 115g
冷凍パイ生地 2枚
鮭 1切れ(255g)
塩 小さじ1
コショウ 小さじ1
バジル (千切りにしておく) 5枚
溶き卵 2個分
作り方:
1. オーブンを190°Cに予熱しておく。
2. 小皿に茶こしをのせ、バジルソースをを入れる。こしたバジルソース(A)と茶こしに残ったバジルのペースト(B)は置いておく。
3. 解凍したパイ生地を1枚取り出し、28cm×40cmの大きさに麺棒で伸ばす。クッキングペーパーを敷いた天板にのせる。
4. パイ生地の真ん中に(B)を半量だけのせる。ゴムベラで伸ばして鮭の切り身の形にする。鮭をのせ、塩・コショウを振って(B)を塗る。(Bはまた使うので少しだけ残しておく)
5. 2枚目のパイ生地をのせ、シャケの周りの生地を押して形を整える。魚の形に輪郭を切り取る。パイ生地の切れ端は取りのぞいて置いておく。
6. 頭部分を1度折り返し、(B)を塗ってパイ生地の切れ端をのせる。もう一つ切れ端を重ねて(B)を塗ったら、頭部分のパイ生地を折り戻す。
7. 縁に沿って指で生地をつまみ、全体を密閉させる。
8. 包丁で頭とヒレの切り込みを入れる。スプーンの先で鱗の模様を作る。刷毛で表面に溶き卵を塗る。
9. オーブンで約40分焼き、きつね色になったら取り出す。
10. (A)にバジルを入れて混ぜ合わせ、刷毛で塗ったら、出来上がり!熱いうちに切って召し上がってください♪
Pesto Salmon Puff Pastry
for 4 servings
Ingredients:
½ cup pesto sauce(115 g)
2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
9 oz salmon fillet(255 g)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
5 leaves fresh basil, julienned
2 eggs, beaten
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a small bowl lined with a strainer, strain the pesto. Set aside the pesto and pesto oil.
3. Gently unfold and unroll 1 sheet of puff pastry. Roll out to 11 inches (28 cm) by 16 inches (40 cm). Transfer the puff pastry to the baking sheet.
4. Spread half of the pesto onto the middle of the puff pastry in the shape of the salmon fillet. Place the salmon on top of the pesto. Season with salt and pepper. Spread more pesto on top of the salmon.
5. Place the other sheet of puff pastry on top of the salmon and press around the salmon fillet to seal. Cut a fish silhouette around the salmon and remove the excess puff pastry.
6. Unfold the head flap of the fish pastry. Brush pesto on the puff pastry and layer a small piece of puff pastry on top of the pesto. Repeat once more and refold the head flap.
7. Seal the edges by pressing onto the seams of the fish silhouette.
8. Use a knife to make indents for the head and fin details.
9. Use the tip of the spoon to create indents of the scales.
10. Brush the pastry with egg wash.
11. Bake for 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
12. In a small bowl combine the pesto oil and basil. Brush the pastry with the basil pesto oil.
13. Slice and serve while hot.
14. Enjoy!
