I wish I had a river… I could skate away on. 記得當年聽到Joni Mitchell 唱到這句，我整個崩潰大哭。開始創作的那幾年，感恩有這位創作詩人啟發了我，讓我體會到在音樂創作裡，一句歌詞，配上對味的旋律，是多麼的有力量，讓人停止呼吸，刺痛心臟，眼紅鼻酸。
這首River 真的沒聽過太多人（敢）翻唱（真的太難太難駕馭）。但今天看到這位歌手Sierra Eagleson的視頻，從鋼琴手指一彈，然後開口唱，整個起雞皮疙瘩。Bravo!
另外，jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way… 在這首歌裡面可以如此的巧妙被運用，這就是Joni Mitchell 創作的厲害。

Now that there's this #lockdown looming over us, I'm so glad my friends and I got to have our last Christmas 2020 get-together at @catlai10's beautiful home.
Of course #karaoke was on the cards, and I thought I'd try out songs I've never sung before (you will hear the mistakes, for proof😆). Okay, I guess I kinda miss performing too 😭😭😭
I'd never thought much about the lyrics of this song, but quickly realised how it was so relevant to my husband Effendi and me - how he's been such an incredible pillar of support for me throughout my career, my mentor, my harshest and most honest critic, and my hero. Haishhh... emo pulak. Mood #pkp kot 🤭
Anyway, singing is always so, so good for the soul. Especially when you sing with abandon, like you don't care, haha. Hope you all had a lovely weekend💜

1 year ago today, I went on a semester long exchange to study at Korea's Sungkyunkwan University #성균관대학교 for Fall 2020. 🇰🇷It was truly an exchange journey that really changed my life. I still can't help to think back to all of the amazing people that I met on this exchange, all of the awesome adventures exploring Korea, making the best out of every day in the 5 months that I was there for. That's why I selected A to Z of my favourite memories from August to January to show you guys why going on exchange can be so life-changing and it is definitely the best decision that I have made! Here are some of my criteria when buying a laptop computer :
1. Future proof, parts are easily upgradable and replaceable. I don't like soldered RAM on my motherboards. Even my Wireless Card in the laptop has to be replaceable because I always upgrade that as well.
2. HDMI 2.0 and above. If my Laptop Screen is running at a certain speed, I want my external monitors to be smooth as well. This model is running on HDMI 2.1 which can support 4K120 and 8K60.
3. Transparent, it's best that all the parts are stated in detail ie Memory Speed, which SSD is being used etc.
4. After sales support. Firmware and Driver updates, technical support.
In December 2020, I've helped my younger brother purchase a high end laptop for his work from Illegear during the Christmas sale. Price was very good for the specifications of the laptop that we purchased. Here's the Unboxing Video :
