Very excited to receive the invitation from @The Glenlivet to unlock the mystery of The Glenlivet Code. It is encased in a black bottle with no information about casks used and tasting notes. So, you gotta challenge your senses to unlock the code! Tasting notes will be revealed at the end of 2018. Here is my tasting notes: with amber color, the nose is very aromatic with honey, baked apple, pear, toasty, dried flower, orange zest & cinnamon notes. On the palate, it has honey, caramel, toasty, ginger, baked apple, toasty, ginger and pear. The finish has some charcoal toasty note with some tannin bites. It’s easy to approach with its own character! Wanna try to unlock the code?
