雖然昨天傍晚之後開始下雨
不過今天西雅圖天氣非常好
藍天白雲與大太陽走在街上都非常舒適。
下午來到了上次拜訪西雅圖錯過的景點 Chihuly Garden and Glass
出生於西雅圖南邊 Tacoma 的 Dale Chihuly 是美國知名的玻璃雕刻家
他創造了許多華麗的玻璃大型藝術品
其中除了西雅圖這座玻璃藝術園之外
還有像是在拉斯維加斯 Bellagio 飯店大廳上的彩繪玻璃屋頂
位於印第安納波利斯兒童博物館的 Fireworks of Glass Tower 等等。
門票成人 $26
可以參觀博物館內不同時期創作的各種玻璃藝術品類型
以及玻璃屋溫室還有戶外的花園。
最後還可以在小劇院觀看 Dale Chihuly 製作玻璃的過程等等
從玻璃屋裡面可以透過屋頂一整片的橘黃色玻璃看到旁邊的 Space Needle
這個角度真的很經典呢！
Chihuly Garden and Glass
Bellagio 的溫室花園也是每次來到拉斯維加斯必定前來參觀的
這次的主題是 Summer Garden - Tour of Italy
也是我第一次看到的布景!
花園布置非常精緻
最主要的地方是義大利五彩繽紛的 Cinque Terre 五漁村的造景
旁邊的小湖泊上還有船隻停泊
另外兩邊則分別是花叢噴泉與瀑布。
使用了許多種不同的花卉
從百合、菊花、玫瑰、長壽花、繡球花、西洋蓍草、到鼠尾草
有超過 560 叢不同的花束盆栽
非常精緻美麗!
