After almost 2 weeks of returning home, our ‘pride and honor’ national carrier @malaysiaairlines has not yet responded to my email with regards to the compensation vs. reimbursement offered. They seem to be very confused or perhaps not trained to comprehend the actual meaning of words. Instead of communicating with me to resolve the issue, they choose to keep mum & couldn’t care less about my complaints and justification. My endless messages on Twitter & FB were left unattended until now.
This doesn’t only happen to passengers, but also to their own cabin crew. I bumped into a FB post recently indicating that one of its stewards were left high & dry overseas without his luggage. Bearing in mind that it’s winter now in certain countries. Imagine!
One of my chef friends flew to Seoul yesterday on a Malaysian food promotion mission but his luggage containing the ingredients, etc. didn’t arrive along with him. To add salt to injury, no one from the ‘coveted’ & ‘award-winning’ airline contacted him thus far. I’m wondering if he too was given a night kit from @singaporeair coz’ the ones from MAS ran out of stock, just like what I experienced in Melbourne recently.🙄🤔🤔
Nevertheless, I must applaud the Chief Steward & crew members on MH148 & MH149 (10th Oct & 16th Oct 2017) for their impeccable service I & other passengers received. 👏👏👍😘👨🍳
All in all, why should I/we continue to support #MAS when they keep on failing me and many more? This is not an isolated case, to say the least. Mind you that I didn’t fly free of charge!
Perhaps it’s time for @oneworld to reevaluate it’s association with the said carrier. It gives the former & other associated airlines a really bad name being marketed under one roof of some sort.
I didn’t write this with an evil intention to bash my own national carrier that I’ve been supporting since early 1990’s, but rather out of pure frustrations coz’ they are not reachable for any discussion to reach to an amicable solution to date.
If they continue with this kind of ‘SOP’, I won’t be surprised that they’ll crumble down much sooner than later.
Now let see if “Nelissa” will resume the case solution. 🙏😡😡
