【多益滿分的意義和關鍵方法】

我的多益聽說讀寫都考了滿分。

妙的是，我常常在教課或演講的時候忘了這件事，而窗口都會特別跟學員強調，我才想到我忘了講

請別誤會，我絕對不是覺得「這沒什麼」！曾經英文爆爛的我非常看重這些年來努力的成果

而是覺得好像不用一直強調這件事情，因為英文已經變成我能夠運用自如的語言，而我每天還是持續學習這個我永遠的外語，用中英雙語形塑我接觸的世界

這很重要，因為這就是學英文對我的意義啊！
我想要順暢自在用雙語認識這世界，並表情達意

比起分數，更重要的是你為何學英文。

（不要說是為了達標，那不是真正的 why！）

這篇文章，希望你先想清楚學英文的意義和動機，讓這動機驅使你學習，這比只讀底下的關鍵方法更能讓你持續更新自己，而且感到充實愉快

#1基礎關鍵：培養視覺和聽覺認字能力，並認識文法

不要以為是老生常談。太多人以為K單字表就叫做學單字，錯大了。真的眼睛和耳朵認得單字才派得上用場。那要丟掉單字表嗎？不用喔，學到一個階段後可以用單字表來檢視該會的字是不是都會了，但不該本末倒置由單字表開始！

好的單字學習方法是有情境和前後文的情況，否則 request 跟 require 單字表上都寫「要求」，contain 和 include 都是「包含」

我造幾句
I requested a taxi. 我叫了計程車
It requires some adjustments. （文件）需要些調整

The drink contains sugar. 這飲料含糖
Include him on the list. 把他加到名單裡

這些句子在生活中都會用到對吧？
融入生活的學習讓你更好記憶，事半功倍

應該平常就選自己有興趣的英文來讀來聽，遇到生字的時候再查詢並學起來，這樣你可能還會記得在什麼情況學到單字的，這些字才是活的

眼睛認得以外，很多人學的單字卻無聲。聽到時完全陌生，那就是太少聽了。說到這我一定要推薦朗文線上字典，例句都可以聽！每句都點來聽聽，並跟著讀，單字才不會每每查了就忘

文法則是幫助自己理解的好幫手，是必修的內功。花點時間到書店翻翻，翻到自己不熟的文法，例如假設語氣，讀起來覺得好懂，那本就適合你。如果個人學習欠缺動力，或是想要老師燈塔指引，更有效率學習，請報名補習班（私心大推 Leeds Mayi 的文法班）

#2聽力關鍵：抓意思，而不是抓字

首先，請帶著目標來聽聽力，而不要抱持看電視的心情等聲音過了再反應，因為只播放一遍，要非常專心，過了就只能靠自己記憶回放，而且前兩大題都是沒選項看，要直接決定劃卡的

第一大題看到圖就要有預期，聽符合的描述就把筆尖停在選項上，繼續聽沒有更好選項，就劃好劃滿
第二大題一樣沒選項看，而題本不能劃記，但可以鉛筆尖懸在答案卡選項上，跟第一大題一樣，停留在可能選項上，聽沒更好的就劃卡

第三第四大題則是要搶快先讀文字，文字都不會很長，讀了就要在心裡反推等一下會講什麼，那些選項才會合理，這樣實際聽的時候才不會全都是未預期的新資訊

整體來說，帶著預期而聽，更可以專心聽題目和自己要找的「意思」，是 meaning-based 的理解，而不是一個一個字抓，word-based，那只要遇到生字就掛了，而且會節節敗退，生活中的英文溝通也一模一樣

#3閱讀關鍵：捨得跳過雜訊，才讀得快

有單字和文法基礎，閱讀的基本分一定有，要進步的關鍵絕對是速度！75分鐘要寫完100題，本身就是刻意的設計，其實就是要求閱讀的速度。所以訣竅來了：做好配速。前面46題一定要衝刺，不然後面54題實在寫不完

寫閱讀的時候完全不能悠哉，要一直在心裡催促自己快快快，果決不猶豫，通常會猶豫的題目，猶豫再久還是不會，不如果斷吧！快去別題把分數拿下來

接下來的29題單篇閱讀字開始多，不能慌，因為比起後面已經很單純，還是要保持加速狀態。最後25題超花時間！跳來跳去找線索的多篇閱讀，看剩餘時間決定是否用一般速度讀，由答案選項開始讀，到可能有所需資訊的地方找線索，真的還是來不及就猜好猜滿吧

整體來說，我遇到太多學生不敢跳過段落，都要把每個字讀過去，那就不可能提升速度。生活和考試一樣，寧願選擇對的地方投入心力，也不要浪費時間在不會有結果的地方。現在你知道高速閱讀者的秘密了，不是速讀，而是挑重點讀，不讀雜訊

非常誠心建議考前一天做點運動，早點睡，早上早點到考場，簡單吃個三明治，喝個豆漿，考前半小時喝提神飲料（重要！），然後上個廁所，考場外等待時再臨時抱佛腳做做練習題（ QuizFun 考尚樂 - 幫您快樂考上 線上練習題很方便，只要用手機，不用帶書）可能考試碰巧就遇到同樣題型

也被翻譯了

然而這篇也同樣熱門 甚至更有意義的卻被忽視了

所以筆者決定自己把字幕找出來 一句一句翻給大家看

希望能對學弟妹有些幫助 看完能有些想法 順便練英文囉XD

American life That nobody talks about in commencement speeches

One such part involves boredom routine and petty frustration

The parents and older folks here will know all too well what I'm talking about

But that is not the point The point is that petty frustrating crap like
this Is exactly where the work of choosing is gonna come in

Because the traffic jams and crowded aisles and long checkout lines

Give me time to think and if I don't makea conscious decision About how to think and what to pay attention

I'm gonna be pissed and miserable every time

I have to shop Because my natural default setting is the
certainty That situations like this are really all about

The capital T Truth is about life before death It is about the real value of a real education

Awareness of what is so real and essential So hidden in plain sight all around us all the time that we have to keep reminding ourselves overand over

並且不斷一遍一變得提醒自己
