Fake Beef alert 🚨 【牛かつ もと村 Gyukatsu Motomura】 is so popular in Japan in recent years & still expanding, you can find the same long queue upto 1-2 hours wait in many Japanese cities. At around only ¥1400-1500 a Set, I think although it is soft tender & gimmicky with the Personal Iron grill to reheat, most customers don’t even realize it is artificial Beef meat injected with fat marbling 霜降り加工 成型肉, sometimes known as 華麗牛. It’s not supposed to be eaten rare to medium-rare just like any pre-minced Burger meat due to meat processing contamination risks. Well anyway good luck finding a real piece of proper Wagyu Beef for Gyukatsu, those shops that do it offer it with heart and way less profit margin. The other Blacklisted shop doing the same practice is 六歌仙 Rokkasen in Shinjuku, Tokyo - that we busted them for cheating more than a decade ago, but still doing it especially to Tourists. Pepper Lunch also uses the same 霜降り加工肉 too for 1 dish, but at least they advertise it properly and not misleading consumers 😛
