第76屆聯合國大會今天正式開議！每年九月，世界領袖、公民社會倡議人士、年輕族群、全球企業及各界人士在聯合國大會齊聚一堂，共同討論 #聯合國永續發展目標 的實質進展及未來努力方向。

聯合國於2015年發佈了17項永續發展目標，呼籲所有人採取行動促進繁榮、保護地球、改善衛生和教育品質並減少不平等。台灣在推動永續發展目標上表現亮眼，除了在各個領域積極推動經濟成長，也同時顧及人民健康，並尊重人民的基本權利 (詳情請見影片內容: https://fb.watch/80h0hqzJQJ/)。

九月底，美國、台灣和其他國際夥伴將在聯合國大會舉行期間，共同主辦 #全球合作暨訓練架構 (GCTF)「以科技力建構韌性及加速落實永續發展目標」國際研討會，屆時國際夥伴將分享彼此推動永續發展目標的經驗和決心。

The 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) opens today! Every year in September, world leaders, civil society champions, young people, global businesses, and many others convene at UNGA to discuss progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the way forward. The 17 SDGs are a call to action for all to promote prosperity while protecting our planet, improving health and education, and reducing inequality. Taiwan has exemplified how the SDGs can be implemented in many different areas of life to ensure health and growth at the same time, while respecting the rights of people as demonstrated in this video. Later this month, a Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) workshop on “Building Resilience and Accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals through Technology” will take place on the sidelines of UNGA where the United States, Taiwan, and other partners will share experiences and demonstrate our strong commitment to the SDGs. #UNGA76 #HearTaiwan #TaiwancanHelp #UNGlobalGoals #GCTF

【台美日澳 #GCTF 討論綠能發展】

氣候變遷持續發生，而台灣維繫地球永續發展的腳步從不落人後😎

外交部與經濟部能源局、工業技術研究院、美國在台協會台北辦事處、日本台灣交流協會、澳洲駐台辦事處，最近共同舉辦「全球合作暨訓練架構－綠能：開創潔淨及永續發展的地球」線上會議，期盼藉由 #全球合作暨訓練架構(GCTF) 攜手對抗氣候變遷！

外交部吳部長表示，發展 #潔淨再生能源 是因應全球氣候的關鍵，政府全力將台灣打造為 #亞太區域綠能中心，同時準備好與世界共同發展綠能，並以友邦 #聖克里斯多福及尼維斯 與 #馬紹爾群島 的再生能源計畫為例，展現「台灣能幫忙，且台灣正在幫忙」的精神👍

其他三國代表均預錄開幕致詞影片，來自泰國、日本、越南及歐洲各國總計50國約120名官員及專家線上參與，各國熱烈分享 #能源轉型 經驗及 #綠能產業 發展。

As #COP26 quickly approaches, it’s time for all countries to reflect on their #CarbonGoals and #RenewableEnergy policies. What better time then for #Taiwan, the #US, #Japan and #Australia to host a Global Cooperation and Training Framework conference on #GreenEnergy?

As part of efforts to #TackleClimateChange, the conference gave an overview of the global development of the green energy industry, and countries shared their experiences of energy transition.

120 experts and officials from 50 countries, including the US, Japan, #Thailand, #SouthKorea and several European countries took part in the online conference.

In his opening address, MOFA Minister Joseph Wu stated that clean and renewable energy sources are the key to fighting the #ClimateCrisis and that Taiwan is keen to become a green energy hub for the #AsiaPacific region. He added that Taiwan is also working with others in #PartnershipForTheGoals, citing renewable energy projects launched with allies #StKittsAndNevis and the #MarshallIslands.

【台聖40 友情持續堅實】

外交部吳部長錄製祝賀影片，慶祝台灣與 #聖文森及格瑞那丁 正式建交40週年👍👍👍

台聖兩國在農業、公衛、科技、教育及基礎建設等方面廣泛合作，今年聖國火山爆發後，兩國為共同面對災後挑戰，簽署了合作備忘錄，期盼藉由台灣公衛醫療與科技防災等經驗協助聖國防災，具體展現 #台灣能幫忙也正在幫忙 ！

駐聖文森大使館也在首都 #金石城 舉辦「台聖建交40週年」紀念影像展，用史料與照片回顧台聖兩國豐碩的合作成果；而聖國駐台大使館的臉書 Embassy of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, ROC, (Taiwan) 最近也發布一系列 #台聖建交40週年 與 #開館2週年 紀念影片，慶祝台聖友誼、自由與繁榮！

MOFA Minister Joseph Wu recorded a special video to mark 40 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties with #StVincentAndTheGrenadines.

This enduring relationship has seen cooperation across a whole range of sectors, from #agriculture to #PublicHealth, #technology, #education and infrastructure development.

In the wake of the volcanic eruption earlier this year, #Taiwan was there to help the local people back on their feet and a disaster management and medical capacity building cooperation pact was signed by both countries to ensure that necessary preparations are taken to lessen the impact of future disasters on the local people.
