今年的商業大片特別多，而這部緊接在侏羅紀世界2後上映的電影，主打的是咬合力有過之而無不及的史前巨鯊！
雖然免不了會有商業大片的缺點，但故事的設定還是頗有創意，說人類為了探測海底，意外地惹出了一隻潛藏在海底之下的龐然大物。現有的科技根本無法對付這樣的威脅，人類只好求助地表最強的光頭 - 傑森史塔森來對付牠！
