A look around Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo - the largest fish market in Japan (and the whole world!). Plus how to visit the new market at Toyosu.
While Tsukiji Fish Market's moved to Toyosu in Odaiba, the original outer market's still there. All the restaurants and street food stalls are still available, so you can have a fresh sushi breakfast or seafood rice bowl (kaisendon) to start your day in Tokyo. In this video, Phil takes a look around the market to see what there is at Tsukiji, and has a salmon and tuna meal at one of the sushi bars. Then I'll explain what you can see at the new market at Toyosu (which is twice the size of the original!), how to get there and how to get tickets to watch the famous tuna auction.
