Today was an interesting day. I woke up and booted up Splatoon thinking that Splatfest would be going on, but lo and behold, it was not. Midway through my recording-session, at 9 AM EST, an Inkopolis News-Update interrupted the game. Now, it was time for Splatfest. I rechecked Splatoon's Tumblr and was surprised to find that Splatfest was now going to happen on Saturday AND Sunday. I think this is a great change. Now I don't have to grind on a single day; I can spread it out over two games. Good one, NIntendo.
I was doing well with this loadout until Splatfest started, which pairs people up according to their rank in Ranked Battle. I found the Seeker to be useful in the beginning of a battle to get to the center quickly. Perhaps I could have used it to escape as well.
Looking at my footage, I should have gone to the Test Range as well. I was not really aiming my flicks optimally, just flicking wherever. Anyway, Happy Splatfest.
