Hong Kong's English-speaking Scouts have marked their 40th anniversary with a special District camp at Gilwell campsite.
The theme was "The return of the Crown." Here's the storyline, that delighted hundreds of Scouts of all ages. The Queen of England lent two of her crowns to the SJD, but someone stole them from headquarters. Cubs and Scouts were given a mission: find the lost crowns.
Working as teams, they went through 13 activity bases all over Gilwell campsite up in the mountains above Kowloon. This culminated with a search for the crown thief -- who turned out to be SJD District Commissioner Graham Price.
Sunday saw the Cubs engage in a wild water fight, while Scouts tackled archery, leatherworks, and a 13 meter high rope course.
