Hi, everyone. :) Today we'll show you how to make the most comfort soup: Creamy Corn Chowder.
Chowder is a type of soup or stew, it has a creamy base and chunky in texture. Corn chowder made with sweet, fresh corn, onion, celery, potatoes, bacon, and heavy cream. This soup is comfort in a bowl, and includes a whole dimension of flavor, texture and protein.

Creamy Corn Chowder Recipe
☞ Yield: 4 servings, each serve is 200ml
✎ Ingredients
sweet corn 2 ears (220g)
half onion
garlic 1
celery 1 stick
small potato 1
bacon 4 strips
heavy cream 120ml
bay leaf 1
thyme a little
water 600ml
all-purpose flour 12g
salt 4g
black pepper 1tbsp
✎ Instructions
1. Slice the kernels off the corn cobs, and rotate the cob and repeat until all are cut. Set the corn and cobs aside.
2. Divide kernels in two bowls evenly. Put one bowl of kernels into the food processor for the purée.
3. Place a stock pot, add the cobs and bay leaf, pour 600ml water, and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, cover, and reduce the heat to low, allow to simmer for 30 mins.
4. Strain the stock and allow to cool.
5.Cut away the stem end of half onion, and keep the root end, then peel the papery skin
peel the papery skin, chop into small pieces.
6. MInce the garlic finely.
7. Remove the stringy of celery, and cut into small pieces.
8. Peel the potato, then slice into uniform pieces, and cubing the potato. Keep the size same with celery.
9. Dice bacon to small pieces.
10. Heat the bacon over medium low heat, stirring occasionally until crisp, about 10 mins. Remove and drain. Reserve some for garnish.
11. Add garlic and onions, cook until soften. Add celery, stir for 1 min, then add flour, stir until a paste forms.
12. Pour the stock, stir slightly.
13. Add the corn puree, kernels, potato, thyme, crisp bacon and heavy cream. Bring the chowder to a boil, then reduce heat to low, simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 12-15 mins.
14. Seasons with salt and black pepper before serve. Enjoy.
