Dead Rising 3: Nightmare Mode Perfect Walkthrough
Nightmare mode is the classic mode, where the timer runs at the old DR1 and DR2 speed.
Tips:
- Do "Signs of Safety" quick.
When complete, go inside the safe house to the right and pick up the "Pole Weapon" blue print, "Lone Blade" book and might as well get the "ZDC App Update". The "Pole Weapon" and "Lone Blade" is very important in this walkthrough, as its the most effective weapon on Nightmare mode during boss and non-zombie enemies.
- While transitioning to the next side mission, try go to the barber shop's back alley, and grab the "chainsaw". Also grab the "meat cleaver" in the building housing one of the spray paint on East of Ingleton.
- It's your choice to save the stranded survivors or not. The achievement to save 15 stranded survivor is cumulative from new game+ or multiple playthrough.
- Next is "Garden of Peace" psycho boss. Just pick up the "Handgun" and wait next to the gong drum. Smack it when boss is near for easy stagger grapple.
I don't have my Kinect hook on to xbox one for easy stagger, but you should use it. I personally like old school style (no extra help).
- Afterward, go clear the unsafe safe-zone near Rhonda's garage. Inside have "Stunt Devil" book for increase in unarmed attacks. It will be useful on one of the side mission later.
- Now make sure you have a "Meat Cleaver" and "Chainsaw" in your inventory before proceeding to the next story progression.
What's a Perfect Walkthrough?
- Start game from Level 1 and beat game with True Ending
- Rescue all recruit-able survivor
- Complete all Side Missions (Will be skipping survivor's dialogue to finish on time. Time management is the key to this whole Walkthrough)
- Reach Level 50 within this playthrough
- Try Save all encounter Stranded Survivors (Which I did saved all, unless there's some I never encounter before)
- Try get as much Achievements within this Playthrough
Made a new gamertag just so I can track what achievement was obtained in this perfect walkthrough.
(Well I could get all the achievement except the "Be a Dick" achievement within this playthrough but I don't want to drag on the boring stuff. Will explain later on how.)
