Back in the days, around the time when YouTube was founded, before most of you were born, I used to Vlog a lot. I was a little ahead of my time because video sharing platforms were premature back then. I Vlogged so that I can remember my experiences back then. You'll get to know me better if you actually spend the time to watch this. If you do have the patience.
Episode 18 - I Got Hit By A Tornado, Massachusetts
Part 1 Just me cooking in my dorm and chillin with friends
Part 2 Kyu, Brian, and I visited Samantha's house and school. She's super awesome
Part 3 Me playing some piano and watching my friends' performances. Especially Flight Of The Bumblebee.
Part 4 We were practicing Tae Kwon Do at our field one fine day, and a tornado came unexpectedly. Aside from Patty, no one got hurt. We lost our credit cards, money, insurance cards, IDs, Taekwondo Items and drinking bottles.
Part 5 There was a food event at our school. Chef Martin Yan came. It was awesome. Patty won.

Episode 12 - Mount Snow, Vermont
Beginning of my video was my typical college day. I was cooking Japanese Steaks for my two good friends Brian and Emily. It wasn't the best cooking but eating with good friends are the best. I call Brian "Aniki" or "Onisama", if you know it, you know it.
I went to Mount Snow in Vermont, USA with the same gang I went to Mount Wachusetts with. Instead of Skiing, this time I went Snowboarding. It was a totally different experience. I was snowboarding by myself on the bunny hill until my friends persuaded me to go up the longest cable car. Little did I know, it was the cable car to their most difficult Black Diamond peak. I couldn't even make it to 5% of the mountain, so I had to pretend that I was injured for the snow mobile to come pick me up. It was a fun ride.
Food in Vermont are unique on their own. They are famous for their Maple Syrup. Lots of good food from family run restaurants. We went to Dot's Restaurant and the experience was unforgettable. Super delicious!!!
I spoke a few languages in this video, be sure to turn on captions.

This is my one remaining way to promote small channels as I've maxed out my Sub Counts trying to help out small YouTube channels (And getting hate at the same time)

list of youtube cooking channels 在 internationally ME Youtube 的最讚貼文
My channel was selected to be one of the 16 channels for YouTube NextUp 2016 and for the collaboration video, I decided to have a nabe party with my team members :D
It's a little different from my usual video style however I thought since I was given this opportunity, I would challenge myself to new filming techniques/editing etc. and step out of my comfort zone and hopefully also step up the quality!
Japanese nabe or hot pot is a must eat in winter! There is probably no Japanese person that doesn't go through winter without eating nabe at least once!
There are many different nabemono such as shabu shabu and sukiyaki but I love nabe hot pot the best :D It's so easy to make and you can just basically chuck any veges/meat you like in there.
Ingredients used in the video:
Chinese cabbage 白菜
Spring onioin 長ネギ
Carrot 人参
Tofu 豆腐
Chicken 鶏もも肉
Minced Balls お肉団子
Mushrooms(Shiitake) しいたけ
Udon 締めのうどん
YouTube NextUp was an amazing experience, meeting other inspiring and genuine creators and learning new skills together. I was able to make some really awesome friends!! ^^
