Eating in Vietnam is one of the main reasons why people travel to Vietnam. The food here is actually really varied and so delicious. There are options of eating food right on the streets of spending hundreds of dollars on meals. There are even small mom and pop style establishments called quans. In Hoi An, I tasted the best local noodles called mi quang and cao lau on the streets where working class locals eat and at a restaurant where tourists eat. Lets see if I get my money's worth and see how the dishes compare.

Saigon offers no shortage of noodles and the Lunch Lady cooks up a different dish every single day. You might have seen her on Anthony Bourdain's show or on an earlier video by OldBoy. Either way, when Mark Wiens of http://www.migrationology.com was in town, he made sure to eat there. On this particular day- we feasted on Thai noodles.
