Use “But” to Break the Bad
“For, behold, darkness will cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but Yahweh will arise on you, and his glory shall be seen on you.” (Isaiah 60:2 WEB)
I love the “but” in the verse above.
Yes, there is thick darkness in the world, BUT it does not cover you.
Instead, God’s glory shines out from you and scatters the surrounding darkness. It is the radiant glory of the Holy Spirit in you, and He is greater than any evil spirit out there in the world.
Things may be bleak in the world, but you must see yourself as sanctified (set apart). You will not fall like them. Only with your eyes will you look, and see the reward of the wicked. A thousand shall fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, BUT it shall not come near you. That’s quoting from Psalm 91.
People may think that you are proud for thinking that you are immune to the bad things that happen to the world. “What makes you think you are so special?”
You are a beloved child of God. You were not accidentally born to God. He purposefully adopted you into His family through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit. He spared not His only begotten Son and delivered Him up so that you would be saved. How can you not be special??
The dark fog of bad news has caused many people to be depressed and distressed. We cannot live by sight, if not our hearts will melt in fear like those who are of the world.
Look through your eyes of faith and see that God’s word has not changed with the times. His good promises towards you remain the same.
You can always stand upon the unshakable foundation of His word, especially in trying times.
Not everything may be good yet in your life, BUT God is working all things together for good. When you’re experiencing bad situations, you can always have confident hope to see His goodness come through for you at the right time.
How can you use “but” to put a positive spin to your situation and break the bad things you see in your life? Comment it below as a declaration of faith. 👍

來慶祝 Pride Month。 Be proud of who you are
Our society is beautiful.
We have so many different people living together; each person with his or her own uniqueness.
Our differences is what gives us "color" and what makes each and every one of us special in our own ways.
We should learn to embrace these colors, rather than use our differences to separate us and categorize into "normal" and "abnormal."
I sincerely hope that in time, people in our society start to accept each other for who they are, and appreciate the differences rather than fear them. Our differences are make us individually unique and beautiful.
Jolin Tsai's song "Womxnly" is one of my favorite songs. Not only was her original composition amazing, but also the lyrics. I came up with this storyline for my cover music video one day while listening to this song, and I am grateful for all of those who made it possible to create. Cầu chín nhịp ở Ella được người Anh xây dựng, đưa vào khai thác vào năm 1921. Cầu dài 91 mét ở độ cao 24 nét gồm chín vòm tuyệt đẹp, Cây cầu được đánh giá là nơi đẹp như tranh vẽ, đặc biệt là nó nằm trong một khu rừng rậm và nông nghiệp. Đằng sau đường sắt là các đồi trà xanh mơn mởn.

The Nine Arch Bridge in Ella is on the Demodara loop and spans 91 meters at a height of 24m. The beautiful nine arches make it a very picturesque spot especially as it is located in a dense jungle and agricultural setting. Behind the railway, a forest is booming and below, tea leaves are being cultivated.

I was so excited to hearing IU singing Through the Night 밤편지 with canto lyrics in her concert!
Although I didn’t have a chance to see her concert in Hong Kong
I still screamed when I saw this video at home XD
I kind of expected IU to sing some cantonese songs since she did it last time as well
But I couldn’t believe that she asked someone to fill in its own canto lyrics for Through the Night!!
I bet she really love Cantonese haha
