What Women Need to Become Entrepreneur?
Surely, woman can be an entrepreneur. But she needs to have certain quality in her. Some of them are:
1. Ambition – The first thing that differentiates women with men is ambition. So women must have an ambition to succeed.
2. Self Confidence – Yes you can do it.
3. Area of Interest – She has to identify an area of interest. It means area or a field in which she is good at.
4. Right Planning and Strategy – She must have a plan or roadmap laid out.
5. Do not give up – Don’t give up because of some pressure.
女性成為企業家需要什麼?
當然,女性可以成為企業家。但她需要具備一定的素質。其中有一些是:
1. 企圖心——區分女性和男性的第一件事是企圖心。因此,女性必須有成功的企圖心。
2. 自信——是的,你可以做到。
3. 感興趣的領域——她必須確定一個感興趣的領域。這裡是指她擅長的領域
4. 正確的規劃和戰略——她必須制定一個計劃或路線圖。
5. 不要放棄——不要因為壓力而放棄。

Here I go again😅
上個post未講到,離開TVB之後,as a backup plan,我喺中大收讀Sustainable & Environmental Design建築碩士學位,同時間亦喺一間建築公司實習。重返校園內心都有掙扎,因為主修建築嘅人都知道呢一科係好金,but you gotta do what you need to do。我讀得都算幾好成績,但係事隔10 年要重新pick up絕對有困難。
我喺HKTV嘅的經歷係好滿足,係我演藝生涯中,第一次真正得到作為artist需要嘅照顧。見返好多TVB 台前幕後並肩作戰嘅舊同事,亦被安排做男一,一套劇接一套,而第一套劇嘅對手係影帝影后。過到新環境,有監製話喺舊公司好想同我合作,都覺得我可造性高。台前幕後都有好多溝通,個感覺係大家都有一團火,想創新同製作高質素嘅節目俾大家睇。因為咁我嘅演技有機會突破, it sharpened my skills, and definitely reignited my passion. 不過開心嘅時間過得好快,眨下眼就兩年,跟住大家都知道發生乜嘢事啦。 坦白講,呢次嘅感覺係由更高嘅位一腳𨅝咗落嚟,不過係我自己嘅選擇,因為加入HKTV時都知道會有呢個可能性,所以繼續向前行,無諗過返轉頭。
我決定要靠自己向外發展,向幕後製作埋手,因為呢一個係我鍾意做戲之外,入行嘅初心。起初係圈內朋友介紹由低做起,慢慢身邊有好多伯樂睇到我嘅潛質,鼓勵我開自己公司 - 製作廣告,event,電影。一開公司就已經接到幾個國際性嘅大型廣告同events,但壓力好大,因為我真係零back up。幾經辛苦終於搵到自己嘅世界,生存嘅空間。
試過接到國際品牌幾百萬嘅event 喺海外舉行,單人去開會。原先係同另一間香港製作公司一齊合作,心態係希望謙虛迎接新嘅挑戰,但第一次見面已經感覺好有敵意,因為對方可能覺得我搶生意。開完會諗住會有緊密合作,所以同對方進一步傾計了解, 但對方無緣無故話自己本來做電影行業但無做係因為「你老豆喺呢行」。估唔到離開香港,喺唔同範疇工作,都可以聽到呢種咁ridiculous嘅說話。係咪大家都以為我無咗老豆唔得?為咗big picture,唔希望又再次因為人士複雜而影響我團隊嘅努力,所以我同客戶提出獨自製作呢個event。
Business trip完成後,我同Camille同團隊分享都覺得好愕然,講都冇人信。當時只係女朋友嘅Camille知道當時我好需要人手,就辭職加入公司,付出所有做好呢個project,嗰次贏盡口碑。之後同我地合作過嘅每一位客戶,至今仍然係好朋友。我地嘅motto係將心比己,關係用錢都買唔到,it’s not always about the money。亦學識一定要放下身段,要生存就要豁出去。
曠闊咗視野同人事圈子,心態亦成熟咗,所以毫無保留介紹唔同嘅人去唔同嘅崗位,而佢哋喺呢行都做得唔錯,因為我了解呢一行係好需要其他人嘅扶持。
近呢兩年,有機會參與多咗幕前嘅工作,拍「男排女將」係HKTV拍「四年B班」嘅舊同事推薦我飾演黃金sir呢個角色。我亦好認真去做足功課,感恩大家對黃金sir嘅愛護。開頭有啲緊張,因為好耐無拍劇,希望自己可以發揮得好,希望可以為團隊同拍檔add value。因為呢幾年幕後嘅工作,自然反應係要照顧大家,所以同台前幕後嘅團隊,尤其係一班年輕人都傾得好投契。
Life is a marathon, I’m still giving my all to my career and this industry. 感謝大家對我嘅付出,感恩入行18年真心對待我嘅人。曾經傷害過我,當面多次say no 嘅人,我都要多謝佢地,因為我學識自愛、自強。呢一行嘅路真係非常之難,無論你來自任何嘅背景,成功唔係必然,都要付出好大嘅努力同堅持。
You must maintain a very balanced mental state and stay sane. I truly appreciate all the ups and downs in my life. I will keep striving. And may God continue to be my guidance, allowing me to persevere and protect the people I love with His love ❤️

Back in the 80s, it was easy to make money as a casino because there’s little to no competition.
Then, competition stepped in as more casinos entered the business. And the players got “smarter”.
At this point, market conditions have changed.
And if a casino refuses to adapt to changing market conditions, it’ll go out of business.
So what happened?
Casinos “levelled-up” and offered better services — free accommodation, free transport, VIP treatment, etc. Those that didn’t adapt went out of business.
And this is the same for trading.
Market conditions change and you must adapt to it.
For example…
If your trading strategy only makes money in an uptrend, then do you have a plan when it goes into a bear market?
If your trading strategy only makes money in a range market, then what happens when it breaks out and starts trending?
Pro Tip:
Before you trade any strategy, backtest it to make sure it can survive different market conditions (like uptrend, downtrend, recession, etc.)
This gives you confidence that your trading strategy is robust and able to withstand different market conditions.

Everybody watches what the boss watches. 老闆䀹實乜,同事們就䀹實乜! 你應該䀹實乜呢?
Business is about making tough choices. 上六集就講咗 Who is your primary customer? 公司股東、顧客、員工,邊個行先? 追數,應追邊三條數? 公司應有邊「十誡」? 如何令員工在適當壓力下發揮創意? 同埋同事們之間有幾願意互相幫助?
今集我會同你探討第七個策略問題,亦都係最後一個: What Strategic Uncertainties Keep You Awake At Night? 公司有什麼變數令你夜晚瞓唔著呢?
根據哈佛教授 Bob Simons 呢本書 Seven Strategy Questions,only three things in life are certain: (1) death, (2) taxes, and (3) the fact that today's strategy won't work tomorrow. 三樣嘢肯定: 死亡、交稅、及做生意策略要隨著時間改變。
你公司提供嘅產品/服務,如果永遠一成不變,無論現在點好,遲早會畀人淘汰。 道瓊斯 工業平均指數成分股有30隻,25年前後,超過一半成份股都已經被剔除。
當中一隻嘅股份依然非常成功,就係強生,Johnson & Johnson。 第二集同你講過,佢哋 Credo 教義,係 Customers Come First 嘅公司。 Credo 最後一句: "When we operate according to these principles, the stockholders should realize a fair return."
咁佢股價表現如何? 如果你1944年買咗強生1股,當年強生 IPO 上市,招股價是$37.5 美金。如果你由1944年揸一股到呢本書出版嘅時候 (即2010年), 期間再 reinvest 你收到的股息去買多啲強生股票,你所收的股息連同股價升幅,到這本書出版,合共累積收到超過90萬元美金。Yes! 由1944年嘅$37.5美金,至2010年收到合共90萬元美金。等如65年間,年化增長17%。 Grow 17% every year for 65 years! Wow!
佢點做? 睇下呢個 Johnson & Jonson(強生) 嘅table, 每年嘅 profit planning 由 functional, company, group VP 至 executive level 逐層逐層上, 一年上四次,revisit and revise continously.
2013年就做定2014年同埋15年嘅 profit plan, 再做多額外5年,10年嘅projection,即2020及2025年。
2014就做定2015及2016年嘅 profit plan, 再 revisit 上年做過嘅5年10年計劃,即重溫2020及2025年嘅 projection,睇呢幅圖, 如此類推。
如果數字同當初預期有所出入, 會 face -to-face 問下屬:
(1) What has changed?
(2) Why?
最重要,(3) What are you going to do about it?
Keep it simple. Johnson & Johnson, 就係因為不斷地問這三條問題,過去幾十年都能夠 就住市場適應改變。
唔好講到大公司咁複雜, 即是你係個屋村入面做間茶餐廳,What Strategic Uncertainties Are Keeping You Awake At Night? 有乜風險令你夜晚瞓唔著?
怕你個廚師走咗去? 怕你個業主大幅加租? 怕突然間一大批你啲食客食物中毒? 怕你條村啲人口味變化, 鍾意食日本餐,唔再食茶餐廳? 怕翠華/太興開入來你邊村,咁你就無得爭? Whatever it is! 除咗怕,你打算點應對? 點樣能夠做到兩手準備?
如果有日,你盤生意條數唔靚,我問你:
(1) What has changed? 有乜改變咗?
(2) Why? 點解?
And (3) What are you going to do about it? 咁你打算點做?
你會點回答我?
我做商舖基金,都有好多嘢怕。 經歷過社運/肺炎, 連舖王鄧成波都話唔係「百年一遇」,係「百年不遇」。 我都好怕個市大上大落。 我亦都好怕個個 shopping online 以後街上無晒人行街。我更加怕以後社會動盪,冇曬遊客來港。 我亦都怕中原/美聯/長實/新鴻基會搞個商舖基金同我直接對撼。但怕有用咩,最緊要能夠做兩手準備。 我爸爸教我: 「永遠要作最壞的打算!」
2021 今年我公司目標要買入港幣五億街舖,沽出兩億,對外集資起碼每季港幣6000萬, 基金派息六七八厘,及年回報達至10%。 每季度我同公司管理層都會 review 以上數字, 稍有偏差,就會問自己以上三個問題:
(1) What has changed?
(2) Why?
(3) What are we going to do about it?
有乜改變、點解、同我們點辦?

七條策略問題 Seven Strategy Questions《第四: 你公司要有邊「十誡」? 有什麼是不可做? 》
Steve Jobs 講過,"People think focus means saying yes to the thing you've got to focus on. But that's not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully. I'm actually as proud of the things we haven't done as the things I have done. Innovation is saying no to 1000 things."
我完全贊成。Business is about making tough choices. 上三集就講咗 Who is your primary customer? ... 公司股東、顧客、員工,邊個行先? 追數,應追邊三條數?
今集我會同你探討第四個策略問題: What Strategic Boundaries Have You Set? 十誡都有講唔好殺人、唔好姦淫擄掠。 你公司又有邊「十誡」呢?
根據哈佛教授 Bob Simons 呢本書 Seven Strategy Questions,say No 嘅 boundary 有兩種。
1. 避免公司同事們做啲嘢會影響公司嘅聲譽
2. 避免浪費資源去做一啲嘢, 係同公司現有發展策略有衝突
先講一, 唔做影響聲譽嘅嘢!
例如,全球最大嘅零售商 Walmart, 由於佢專注樣樣嘢 來貨價一定要做到最平,行政人員係絕對唔可以接受任何供應商提供嘅禮物或 favors,not even a cup of coffee。 公司曾經試過炒咗個副總裁,因為佢接受咗個供應商請佢食飯 free meal. 同供應商唔建立 任何感情, 做到冷血,咁每個員工先至能夠摙供應商價摙到最盡。
又例如國際著名嘅顧問公司 McKinsey ,覺得大企業客戶嘅信任最重要。佢就講到明客戶嘅資料, 見唔見得光都好,一定唔可以同任何人披露,包括老公老婆。 由於呢個保密條款, 員工犯規? McKinsey 都炒過唔少人。
我自己做商舖基金, 好多人想同我合作買舖。 我全部答案係 No, 我無合作, 因為太多利益衝。 如果最好嘅自己先買,第二好嘅就同你合作,最差嘅先放落個基金,呢個基金就唔使玩。 因此我成日都同人講,我無合作。一係就買我基金,二係就買我基金沽出來間舖。我自己都無買舖,again 我無合作! 你聽日試打嚟搵我, 話有100億同我合作買舖? 你就知我點答你。
第二個 boundary,避免浪費資源去做一啲嘢, 係同公司現有發展策略唔同嘅。Opportunities to avoid!
例如,一開始 Steve Jobs 個 quote, 如果佢乜都做,就冇資源發明 iPod, iPad, iPhone!
美國著名嘅一間payroll-processing company, ADP, stands for Automatic Data Processing Inc., 純粹幫人出人工咁簡單,ADP 就講到明做生意, 如果下面五樣嘢做唔到,就唔做:
(1) Generate US$100 million recurring annual revenue 每年持續收入要高於1億美金
(2) Sustain a 15% growth rate 持續每年15%的增長
(3) Be number one or two in the market, with the potential to be number one in five years 市場內排名第一或第二, 及五年內有機會做到第一
(4) Offer standardized noncustomized products ans services 標準化嘅產品或服務, 唔會嘥時間重新建立就個客
(5) Have a clear exit plan 萬一唔夾,有個好清晰嘅退出計計劃。
以上五點,是但一點唔得? 就唔做。當然唔係永遠都唔變,公司高層每三年可能會因應時世更改一下 what to say No。 但最重要嘅係公司內外同事們都好清晰有乜嘢係唔做, 咁就更加有資源去做應該要做的事。 純粹做 payroll processimg 咁簡單,宜家ADP市值係超過800億美金,等如兩間新鴻基地產, 肺炎後股價都繼續創緊歷史新高。Crazy!
你公司又有乜嘢唔做嘢? 「十誡」都有講唔準殺人、唔準姦淫擄掠,你又有邊「十誡」?
我自己的商舖基金,除咗五六千萬以下嘅香港街鋪,我乜都唔買。 我唔買商場舖、唔買樓上舖、唔買住宅、唔買工廈、唔買商廈、唔買農地、唔買車位、唔買骨灰龕位、唔買日本民宿、唔買英國樓、 唔買法國酒莊,送畀我都唔要。 因為我唔相信咁大隻蛤乸會隨街跳。 我只相信我乜都say no,才有時間專注睇五六千萬以下嘅香港街舖。回報做到最好,咁長遠就能達致目標,擁有1%香港街舖,即約300億港幣。要專注,所有其他嘢都 say No!
你呢? 無論你做緊間茶餐廳、補習社、IT 公司、定開賭場,公司有乜嘢係 off limit? 影響公司聲譽或係同你嘅公司發展策略不一致? What not to do and what opportunities to avoid?
例如,你開間茶餐廳,唔入有荷爾蒙激素嘅貨? 唔用過期食材? 唔會喺有起碼住咗過萬人嘅屋村以外開舖? 唔會賣出品需時超過15分鐘嘅菜種, 以免減低流轉量? Whatever it is! 是否全公司上下同事們都知道?
