W2HK NFT is OUT May 28

「圓圓」由香港本地著名唱片騎師及歌手Miss Yellow、影像騎師Ferrous Wong 、和製作人Kavemura 組成。他們今次推出的專輯名為《Welcome 2 Hong Kong》，簡稱《W2HK》。專輯內收錄了九個多媒體視頻，Miss Yellow 將幻化成遊戲世界裏的主角，透過不同類型的音樂和影像元素，帶領觀眾在未來的香港cyberpunk場景內尋幽訪秘，把一個涵括城市感、高科技和充滿懷舊情懷的旅程呈現於觀眾眼前。

現時全球科技界的熱門話題「非同質化代幣」 （NFT ）已經在不同領域內帶動起熱潮，可以斷言，音樂與NFT的結合已成為一種新的趨勢，同時加密音樂發展亦迅速進入了香港樂壇。「圓圓」今次最新專輯《W2HK》內的九個多媒體音樂視頻，亦已被鑄造成NFT, 成為香港首個以NFT形式出售的專輯。

Kavemura 介紹《W2HK》時表示：「這張專輯的核心創作元素，是把數碼龐克世界與懷舊回憶結合。我們把電子音樂、復古的粵語歌詞和傳統的亞洲樂器揉合成一體，造成一種完美的典範。我們希望能夠透過革新的創作，為觀眾提供一個獨一無二的體驗，譲他們感受到香港這個充滿未來與過去、現代和傳統、奢侈華麗、堅毅與不屈、東西文化兼容共聚的地方的聲音。」

W2HK (Welcome 2 Hong Kong) is the first song from
YUEN YUEN’s new album.

Conceived as a virtual journey to Hong Kong, the album comprises nine multimedia recordings. A video game-inspired character guides audiences through a cyberpunk Hong Kong where urban and digital realities merge with nostalgic memories.

By combining cyberpunk visuals and electronic music with Cantonese lyrics and traditional Asian instruments, W2HK offers a full immersion in a city where the East meets the West, the future interconnects with the past, and modernism interacts with tradition.

YUEN YUEN is a multimedia collective from Hong Kong operating at the intersection of technology, electronic music and visual art. Members include DJ/singer Miss Yellow, producer Kavemura and Visual Artist / VJ Ferrous Wong.

In collaboration with Warner Music and Whet Records they are releasing Hong Kong’s first NFT album globally.

🎥 Many eminent musicians were involved in the production process of the song, including the singer 💗 Emi Evans, who is very well known to the gamers of the NieR game series, with her silky voice emphasized the character of the song composed by the talented composer Weifan Chang. Written by the artist, the lyrics of the song have a hidden message connecting our time with the near future.

📢 This exquisite composition is a combination of contemporary music, such as the profound music of Sofia Session Orchestra, Bulgaria, the orchestra arrangement by Shota Nakama, a Japanese musician, and the guitar performance by Masahiro Aoki"Godspeed". All these outstanding musicians have made the experience for unique and complete.

🤝 We modestly hope that the song , will stay with you for a long time so that gamers can associate it and consider it an anthem for Republic of Gamers.

我們的家教CJ要去美國讀文學博士學位，希望我幫他寫推薦信申請全額奬學金，我當下立刻二話不說幫他寫。兒子跟女兒看到我這樣做，就說：「爸爸你對CJ很好耶」

我的孩子很幸運能遇到這樣優秀的大哥哥教會他們很多東西，我也像個慈父一樣，希望這個大兒子可以勇於去追求自己的熱情。

My name is John Lee and I am the CEO of JOLA INTERNATIONAL. A group that also owns Timeless Truth Mask, an internationally recognized face mask brand.

I am writing this recommendation letter on behalf of Ching-Jen Sun, whom I have known for 5 years and we all call him CJ. Initially I hired him as the English tutor for both of my children. However, I soon started to realize CJ is more than just an English tutor, his diversified interests sparked my children’s curiosity in various aspects in life. One day he would bring a guitar and speaking words of wisdom from singing along Beatle’s lyrics of “let it be” to my children, another day he would watch World War II documentary film with my children and explained to them why they should learn history, so that the atrocity of Nazi and racism should never be repeated.

As I got to know him better, I started to trust him more by weighing more educative responsibility on his shoulder. For business purposes, each year I would take the entire family touring around Europe for more than a month and CJ would travel with us and help me to babysit my children while I work.

However, CJ far exceeded my expectation as a babysitter, whichever city we went, every afternoon he would take them to the museum and art galleries, his vast knowledge of art and literature in different era never ceases to amaze me.

To my children, CJ is not only an English tutor, but rather a mentor. Regardless of my children’s precocious ages (11 and 9), he would ask them to read George Orwell’s 《Animal Farm》 and explained to them the philosophical context beneath the surface of the story. He would explain to them the significance of existentialism of Jean Paul Sartre as they sat under the balcony hood of Cafe de Fleur in Paris. He would take the kids to Normandy beach and taught them that was the battle field that defined the modern world.

During Covid-19, he would read Albert Camus’ 《La Peste》to my children and pointed out the similarity of humanity between past and present.

His diversified interests are not confined within literature world, as a good baseball pitcher and slugger himself, CJ often would take them out to play baseball and explained to them the beauty of baseball game.

Throughout the years my children and CJ had developed a very strong brotherhood and I feel compelled to recommend this bright, hard-working and courteous young man to your faculty as I have a very strong confidence that he would add extra aura to your team, as he had to mine.

I am confident that CJ Sun is a strong candidate for Fulbright grant for graduate study. If you have any doubt during the process of evaluation, please feel free to contact me.

また、テレビ東京 ドラマBiz「ハラスメントゲーム」（2018年放送）の主題歌でした。

とても良い曲だと思ってはいたのですが、ファルセットが苦手なこともあって、これまでカバーはしていませんでした。
ただ、新アルバムにこの曲が収録されたこともあり、一念発起してカバーしてみました🎸

I did a cover of Kobukuro's 30th single "Kazewo mitsumete(During staring the wind)" .
This song is included in the 10th album "Star Made" that is released in August 4th, 2021.
Also, this song was the theme song of TV drama "Harassment Game" in 2018.

I had thought this is very good song, but, because my falsetto skill is not so high, I haven't covered it before.
However, also because this song was included in the new album, I make up my mind to do, I decided to cover this song.🎸
