美國第七艦隊今天凌晨宣布，伯克級飛彈驅逐艦USS Benfold DDG-65在台灣時間28日例行通過台灣海峽，並提及此舉依照國際法，體現了美國對自由開放印太地區的承諾。
這是美國總統拜登1月上任後，美國軍艦第7度通過台灣海峽。加上川普總統卸任前的統計，美國太平洋艦隊第七艦隊已經呈現「定期巡弋台海」的態勢，頻率約為每月一次，這對台海的穩定和遏止中共的擴張主義是正面的動作。
