Kuching Entertainers Night 2014 will be happening at 8pm on 16 may Friday with 21 notable local indie acts to take the stage at Lido Star, near sekama Road here.
Local band SlaP! teamed up with The Lido to organise this year’s event that showcases the best of Kuching’s indie scene.
Spokesperson for the event who is also drummer for SlaP! band, Leslie Tnay said they spent three months in preparation and gathering the local artists.
“We hope to provide a platform and chance for many emerging local artistes to step into the spotlight to showcase their talent on stage,”
“This is a great opportunity for local independent musicians and other talented artistes as well as music lovers to network and exchange experiences,” he said .
Leslie said they hope the event will allow more people to get to know and appreciate local talent in the music industry.
The line-up of performers for the night are SLaP！,13Arttitude, DJ Ryan, DJ Chaca, DJ Cheryse, DJ Zam, Feasible Crew, Havence, 2.AL, Sam Drumming, Rain Lee, Nading Rhapsody, Petra Dancers , Ryan@Yo-Blitz, 1st August, Dream Machine, DrumCall, SuperCar Club, Supermodel, Magic@Live Effect .
“Entry to the event is free and we hope the public will come to support us and be entertained by a series of awesome performances,” Leslie urged.
