🇻🇳Trekked down to a dam, and there was this beautiful suspension bridge. It connects the two hills so the villagers no longer need to cross the river stream for downtown, which now would still take more than 2 hours of walking.

It doesn't fit the natural environment, but lucky that it still look quite pretty. Probably because such huge contrast to the lush green appears interesting,

A lot of times we are constantly involved in such kind of debate in the head: should we completely preserve the nature/ old things by not altering anything, or compromise and adapt to modernity/ globalization for a more convenient living of the locals? I personally dislike the sight of Starbucks, but when I'm in a hurry and desperately need a coffee to go, they are so good to be there right around the corner. Big supermarkets kill small stores, but they have all we need and it saves us so much time. Aren't we all just hypocrites?
