當地政府2018年9月時在巨樹周圍建造了上浮的人行步道，讓人們不再於樹根上行走；是不是很體貼大自然呢？
Capturing the beauty of Yellow Rain Tree canopy.. Samanea saman (Rain Tree) are commonly planted as street trees due to the 'tunelling effect' brought about by their umbrella-shaped canopy and well as the aesthetic value of its leaves. It has become the most commonly planted tree in Singapore with more than 26,000 individuals on road sides and more in gardens and parks.
