#周末回顧：2021年3月15日是「敘利亞內戰」爆發10周年的戰禍忌日，這場還在繼續、死難遠不見盡頭的殘酷鎮壓，截至今日為止已造成59萬4,000人死亡、超過600萬人成為難民（而他們的故土多被阿薩德政府充公BOT外國財團開發，以償還戰爭外債，餘生幾乎不可能「歸鄉」），國內25%人口因為死傷或逃難而消失。

在59萬名死者中，除了將近12萬名被轟炸、屠殺波及的無辜平民外，其他國家的參戰——像是真主黨與伊朗的志願兵、俄羅斯的華格納傭兵團、土耳其的敘北侵攻軍...等——也各自付出了數百至數千人不等的死亡代價。

但除了可見的戰場之外，10年間被政府秘密警察以剿匪、清鄉、抓異議臥底的名義，而被抓入「刑求集中營」酷刑拷問、成群處決的知識份子與無辜平民，更高達8萬8,000人以上。這種種黑牢地獄不僅沒有因戰爭的長期化而鬆綁，反而更成為今日持續殺傷最大宗的國民絞肉機。

而這篇文章寫於2016年12月——內戰爆發的5年半，敘利亞北方古都阿勒頗在漫長的「渴殺圍城戰」後，被阿薩德政府軍攻破之時——僅以此一片段回顧，紀念這殘酷而仍在繼續的戰亂120個月...

2016年12月，這是敘利亞內戰的第五個年頭，也是阿勒頗戰役佔據國際頭版的第四個冬天——但再寫，應該也沒有以後了——隨著敘利亞政府軍的高歌猛進，反抗軍在東城區的據點也全數淪陷。終於，在圍城了四年之後，阿勒頗終於在廢墟與死屍之中重獲了「和平」。

對於國際社會來說，阿勒頗當下的慘況——城市毀滅、死生兩隔——各種破壞與血淚有如人間煉獄；但在這現代啟示錄之外，阿勒頗這座千年城市卻歷經過無數繁榮與浩劫，儘管多次毀滅、朝代更迭，與歷史洪流對衝的這座城市卻總不屈服。

不知該慶幸或遺憾，在阿勒頗成為「烽火無情」的代名詞之前，我曾於2009年時代變動的前夕見過這座古城的千年故事；但卻在6年內戰間，卻又得在遠方的字裡行間，見證這座城市血流成河的人禍進行式...
