When I went back home to Canada to visit my family, I brought back a little taste of Taiwan. They all really seemed to love the Kaoliang jiu I asked them to try! This is a fun video, and really makes me miss my friends and family back home. Stay safe, everyone!

After two years living and teaching English in Taiwan, it's finally time to go home and see my friends and family. I'm really gonna miss Taiwan, but I'll be back. It was amazing to spend Christmas and New Years back home. I got to see the snow for the first time in what felt like forever. It was even better reconnecting with so many people I care about. I really missed Canada!
An ofuro onsen surrounded by snow, sky-high living room, heated floors, outdoor hot tub and a sprawling dining room... the list goes on. During our Christmas break back in Toronto, we spent a couple nights at The Bear Stand in the Haliburton Highlands.
