Meeting at Muzn Islamic Bank Window of National Bank of Oman (NBO)
Just finished our 2nd quarter of the Shariah board meeting of the year. The next meetings will be held in October and December 2019 respectivey.
Today the level of humidity is extremely high in Muscat. While the temperature is hot and humid outside, the discussion that we had inside was cool and always refreshing. The team of Muzn has worked hard and diligently on both compliance and business (or profitability). They just need to keep the current momentum and create new niche and frontier segment moving forward.
I was commenting - as a side comment on how important that everyone should be passionate about one's job and not just doing the job - on the impressive case of Starbucks. The founder of Starbucks created the idea of Starbuck that is a level or place between the home and office not to sell coffee but to sell 'customer service'...a place to do both official and social meeting. He has been very passionate about serving and caring about the customers more than selling the coffee.
What are you passionate at in your life? Dont be confused between core job and passion. If you are, you have a long way to go to discover yourself and your passion.
