Uninstalling AVID Media Composer First, been looking at the activity monitor even without opening AVID even once, there were all kinds of AVID programs running in the background that I cannot turn off that is hogging CPU. They need to fix this before I am going to install it again, it made my mac temperature gone all the way to 64 degrees while I am only running Chrome looking at facebook and my website. After uninstalling temperatures gone back to normal and no stupid AvidAppManHelper that is hogging CPU.
