First look at Festival of Lights 2020 which opens today at Jurong Lake Gardens! Take a night stroll the gardens and see 28 sets of large lantern displays with themes including animals, countries, Zodiac and Christmas.

There are two main zones:

‘It’s a Small World’ features lantern displays of iconic landmarks unique to different countries around the world. Can’t travel see lanterns also not bad lah. 😅 This area is at Lakeside Field, which is nearest to the North Carpark.

‘Lucky Zodiac’ is located nearer to South Carpark, which features lantern displays of the 12 horoscopes.

For more details, refer to the map in the final image. Admission is FREE and no pre-booking is required! But do note that even if prior booking isn’t required, NParks staff onsite may implement staggered entry if there is overcrowding.

Time: 7pm – 11pm daily
Venue: Jurong Lake Gardens (Nearest MRT station: Lakeside)
*Chargeable shuttle service from the station to North & South entrances

Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated by Chinese all over the world, but only in Singapore will you find this lantern display with a distinctly local twist – children of different races carrying lanterns around a well-loved icon, with HDB flats in the distance!

Besides mooncakes, moongazing, and gathering with the family, what makes this festival unique are the colourful lanterns🏮 that light up the night. Chinatown, Gardens by the Bay, Jurong Lake Gardens (where this photo was taken) and shopping centres have put up beautiful displays. CCs have organised lantern walks and other activities this weekend.

Hey guys! So here's the continuation of my 2 weeks trip to Korea during autumn last year. I showed you the places I went on Day 1 to Day 3 on the first episode. Second episode : Autumn's crimson leaves viewing at Naejangsan Mountain (the place was so magnificent and surreal! the people were so nice and friendly. highly recommend if you want to see the best autumn foliage during November), dinner at Pasha Kebab, Itaewon (kebab was super delish! all the late night when we were starving, this was the only halal place that could saved us. haha), walked/climbed our way up to N Seoul Tower (Namsan Tower) through Namsan Park -- yes we walked up, but took cable car when we went down. moment of weakness right there, souvenir shopping at Dongdaemun market, visit to Seoul World Cup Stadium, strolling and shopping at Myeongdong, went to Seoul Lantern Festival along Cheonggyecheon Stream & lepaking at MangoSix Hongdae
