Carnegie Hall’s NYO Jazz “brought down the house” last night at their Taiwan debut concert in Taichung! AIT Acting Director Raymond Greene congratulated bandleader Sean Jones, guest vocalist Kurt Elling, and the members of NYO Jazz backstage after the show and thanked them for their efforts to promote stronger U.S.-Taiwan people-to-people ties through music. This morning, Jones and his band gave a demonstrative presentation on the origins and characteristics of jazz to 120 students at Taichung Second Senior High School. Don’t miss their last concert this evening at the National Taichung Theater!
