你知道海洋中的塑膠垃圾每年會造成超過110萬的海鳥及海洋動物死亡嗎？上週五AIT在台南舉辦了美國記錄片「怒海控塑」的影片觀賞活動。AIT 高雄分處副處長李明磊在活動上致詞。黑潮海洋文教基金會前執行長、現任董事張卉君在影片播放後，也與觀眾們一起討論海洋污染的問題。觀眾們在此活動中，不但了解我們日常生活中使用的塑膠如何影響我們的環境，也學到如何減少使用塑膠，來保護海洋！讓我們一起努力拯救我們的海洋吧！
Did you know plastic in our oceans is killing more than 1.1 million seabirds and animals every year? Last Friday, AIT hosted a film screening event of American documentary “A Plastic Ocean” in Tainan. AIT/K Deputy Branch Chief Jack Lambert gave remarks to the local participants and Ms. Chang Hui-chun, former CEO and current board member of the Kuroshio Ocean Education Foundation, led a discussion about the ocean pollution after the film screening. During the discussion, many local participants learned how the plastic trash in our daily life impacts our environment and how we can reduce the use of plastic to help preserve our ocean. Let’s all work together to save our ocean!
