Alright so here's the recap on Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale.
First off, for some people who hasn't watched Sword Art Online before,
Sword Art Online is a Japanese light novel series. The series takes place in the near future and is focused on virtual reality MMORPG worlds.
Suggest that people watch/read the series before you watch the movie, cause you won't understand a single thing they're trying to say. (I went to watch it with a friend who doesn't watch SAO at all and turned out sleeping through the whole show and waking up to me crying my lungs out)
I think overall the movie is great, although there should have been more details filled in to the storyline as I think its a little brief. The second half of the movie is where all your feels and your kokoro shatter. The last battle scene just brought me to tears.
The sound track was great. Giving me goosebumps all the way.
Oh and look at this cool goodie bag they gave us. That tea cup is definitely going on my office table.
My rating for this is: ★★★★☆
But 5 stars for the love of the show and feels <3
If you guys decide to watch it at the cinema, make sure you stay till the credits end ;)
