碰碰2020 第一首單曲《你有什么用？》曲风为中文流行抒情歌曲（Mandopop）。继《不觉丢脸吗》在网上火红，#碰碰车写歌企划，已进入了第三首企划！碰碰原在2019年，开始了和粉丝们（碰碰车）一起创作的写歌企划。这个写歌计划只用粉丝们的留言为作词，碰碰自己谱曲后，制作成单曲发表在网络上。第一首《不觉得丢脸吗》受到了多家台湾媒体报道，现今更在YouTube频道上获得了116万的点击量。

碰碰深受R&B和流行乐的影响，在这首单曲发挥了平时少见的爵士唱腔，编曲也加入了各种R&B元素。上千个粉丝们的评论当中选出，《你有什么用？》主题围绕在 “放弃”的主题，歌词表达了各种沮丧或心碎人的心声。

“你有什么用？站在黑暗的角落，come on, 没有人和你感同身受。” 副歌一响起，也许歌词会让人心酸。配上疗愈地伴奏，碰碰希望作品可以给予粉丝们疗愈的效果。借着多人的负面情绪，凌乱的句子通过了音乐的洗礼，却变成了一支有意义的作品。作品想大声地告诉正在面对困难的人们，他们不是一个人。碰碰相信 “雨后有彩虹”。碰碰希望这首《你有什么用？》就像一道光，照亮别人黑暗的世界。

【Song Introduction歌曲介紹】

“你有什么用？” (Useless) is PongPong’s third songwriting project with their fans after “不觉丢脸吗 (Aren’t you embarrassed)” , a collaborative project with fans, which went viral on the Internet. Reported by various Taiwanese media, their previous project has gained 1,160,000 views on their YouTube channel. After the success, PongPong is back with their latest single entitled “你有什么用？” (Useless) , a Mandopop ballad hit.

The track showcases PongPong’s influence of R&B elements like R&B vocals, jazz piano, backing vocals and R&B chords. With the first project themed with hate comments, “你有什么用？” (Useless) surrounds the theme of “giving up”. The lyrics were made solely from fans' comments, which gave a voice for those who felt depressed or heartbroken in life.

The chorus features fans’ lyrics like, “You’re useless.” “Hiding in a dark corner.” “No one would understand your feelings.” it could be overwhelming to listen. However, PongPong believes this piece would be a medium to heal the broken-hearteds by showing them that they are not alone. The song ends with “There’s always a rainbow after the rain” . The sibling duo wanted this track to be a beacon of hope to their fans who are facing hardships and battling everyday.

Tomo Fujita possesses all the elements of great musicianship: astounding technical ability, flawless rhythm skills, and a total command of his instrument. But if asked, Tomo would tell you that music is not just about playing. It’s about feeling. Tomo earned a degree at Berklee College of Music and has been a faculty member at Berklee since 1993. Perhaps the most famous of his former Berklee students are Soulive guitarist Eric Krasno (Kraz) and John Mayer. Tomo is also affiliated with the major music schools in his native Japan. His articles have been published in the Japanese magazines Jazz Life and Jazz Guitar, and he is a regular contributor to the Japanese edition of Guitar magazine. His instructional materials are especially popular in Japan, where guitar players have bought more than 100,000 copies of his videos and books. Tomo has performed with some of the best, including Phil Collins, John Mayer, James Genus (Saturday Night Live), Will Lee (Late Show with David Letterman), Kenwood Dennard (Jaco Pastorious, Dizzy Gillespie, Jimmy Smith), Darryl Jones (Miles Davis, Sting, Rolling Stones), Paul Jackson (Herbie Hancock, Headhunters), Ronnie Earl, Steve Gadd, Bernard Purdie, Steve Jordan and Susan Tedeschi. Bad Digestion, a four-song EP from Taiwanese hip-hop innovator/songwriter Leo Wang, is a snapshot of life in Taiwan -- or anywhere, for that matter -- in 2021.

Let's start with a familiar everyday scene: you're sitting at a table, chopsticks in one hand, phone in the other. You're shoveling down food with one hand, swiping through emotion and drama with the other.

All this grease and gripe, day in, day out, will eventually get to you. This idea inspired the reggae-driven title track, on which Leo sings: "It's emotion, it's hunger, it's fate, all pulling on me / All these mundane things in the world -- I just want to break free."

Time for a digestif, then. The Taiwanese don't agree on everything, but they agree a meal is always good with white rice, or "Baifun." This cut is Leo's ode to Taiwan's great uniter, and his backing band feeds us a generous serving, dripping with funk.

When the world's hard to swallow, one can medicate, but one can also meditate, as Leo does on the last two songs. The space jazz-rock-infused "Experienced That" reminds us of our cosmic selves, as we are constantly pushed and pulled between positive and negative forces. "Mirror" closes the EP with a morsel of common wisdom worth remembering: when we look at other people, what we actually see is a reflection of ourselves.

Bad Digestion is a release from KAO!INC., and was produced by Jerry Li, who also contributes on electric guitar, and features Adriano Moreira on drums, Eugene Yu (UG) on bass, Tseng-Yi Tseng on keyboard, and Minyen Hsieh on saxophones.
