【2021威尼斯影展VR單元入選名單】

威尼斯影展日前公布VR單元入選名單，台灣表現突出，在主競賽單元包括《輪迴》、《病玫瑰》以及合製作品《Bedlam》等作獲得親睞，其中黃心健導演除了以《輪迴》入選之外，還以一部法國作品《The Starry Sand Beach》入選。其中《病玫瑰》（附圖）由金獎動畫導演黃勻弦與唐志中執導。

此外，周東彥導演去年在高雄電影節一票難求的《霧中》獲選進入特別放映，成為該單元唯一的作品，該作讓體驗者走近同志三溫暖，親身感受空間裡的情慾流動。台灣導演賴冠源擔任製片的互動VR作品《喚說其語 Ep.2庫桑達 Kusunda》則入選年度精選單元。

Among our ancestors who have passed away long ago, a paltry number make it to Heaven, if any. To be reincarnated as a human, they have to wait a long, long, long time.
Sometimes, a few decades have passed, and they are still waiting in line for their turn to be reborn, while having a difficult life in the netherworld.
There are also ancestors who have committed grave sins and upon their death, they immediately fall into the terrible realms of animals, hungry ghosts and Hell.
The afterlife destiny of our ancestors affects us, the descendants, in more ways than most of us realise. It is similar to how our parents' destiny have an impact on us growing up, and how ours affect our children's destiny.
Hence, registering our ancestors for bardo deliverance benefits both the dead and living. So just what is bardo deliverance? How can this help the descendants and ancestors?
