Pengarah Kesihatan cakap masa sidang media, "Maaf, saya undur diri. Saya surrender." Sambil tolak mic.

Lepas tu doktor-doktor pun follow, "Maaf kami undur diri. Kami surrender. Sambil buka PPE.

Lepas tu semua frontliners(Nurse, MA, PPK, lab staff, semua medical staff) pula ikut. "Maaf kami semua undur diri". Surrender. Sambil buka PPE.

Lepas tu polis pun follow, maaf kami undur diri. Surrender. Sambil kemas kon, kemas khemah.

Lepas tu anda sakit. Simptom macam Covid. Batuk, selsema, sakit tekak, berair hidung. Anda pun pergi ke hospital.

Diorang cuma cakap, " Haa OK. Awak berehatlah dulu. ICU sudah penuh, wad pun loaded, pusat kuarantin juga padat. Awak balik la rumah dulu..."

Diorang surrender. Habis habisan. Nak jadi apa, jadilah.

Resource sudah habis. Staff sudah penat. Exhausted. Burn out. Mental koyak.

Sebab?
Sebab KITA.
Segelintir dari KITA yang over sangat tak dengar arahan.

Tidak kira merak kayangan atau gagak di rimba. Kita semua sudah gagal.

Jika masa itu berlaku, kita akan menyesal tidak sudah.

Kita akan jadi seperti India sekarang. Iaitu nyawa ditentukan oleh doktor muda yang menjaga.

"Awak banyak co-morbid, old age. Oxygen not pick up despite intubation. Announce DIL (Death In-Line). No active resuscitation for him. "

Saya tidak pernah mengharapkan perkara diatas berlaku dan saya minta jauh daripadanya.

80% staff kerajaan sudah boleh Work From Home, dan staff KKM adalah tidak termasuk.

Tetapi selagi Dato' Hisham masih ada ,kami akan terus berjuang.

So, gunakanlah sebaiknya peluang ini dan seterusnya nanti kerana harapan masih ada.

Kerana apa yang saya ceritakan hanyalah sebuah "KALAU" yang paling saya takuti.

"Perjuangan belum selesai"
