I am collaborating with the the Alliance Française Hong Kong to host a science event for kids - Science Café Kids! We will discover the solar system, planets, moon, galaxies, black holes, etc... through an interactive way! Kids will be able to learn French words relating to these astrophysical objects and illustrate these words through a creative medium of choice (watercolor, cartoons, drawing)!

This is part of the Digital November event of the Consulate Général de France à Hong Kong.

認識我的學生就會知道，我也算是半個戲精（movie buff）。我又常常笑說，我看電影，不止為了娛樂和學習，還為了找電影推介給學生用作學英文和文化浸淫之用。

而和很多既愛看電影，工作又繁忙的人一樣，我會把電影分成需要精心細看和比較不需用神看兩種。而經典之作，就一定要留待工作沒有那麼繁重的日子看。

明天公眾假期沒有課，我特意把握今晚這個時機，看一套比較chur的電影－1973年出品的The Exorcist（驅魔人）。

這套70年代的經典驚慄片果然名不虛傳，製作和故事鋪排之認真和富心思，我覺得可媲美希治閣的Psycho和寇比力克的Shining，相當陰森恐怖。

我的學生／讀者又或許知道這一點：我看過驚慄片之後，如果覺得恐怖，基本上不會寫影評，因為要寫好一篇影評，往往要把一套片翻看後再翻看。。。

各位同學，整體上不推介大家透過看驚慄片學英語，不過如果你自問大膽，又年滿十八歲，這套經典恐怖片，絕對名列70年代美國cultural icons，也許會對你口味。

補充：
transition 和 conjunction是不一樣的東西。and but or so for nor....等字是對等連接詞 conjunction、because 則是附屬連接詞、however, therefore, hence 才是轉折語！
