จากรายงานโควิดโดย สธ สิงคโปร์ 🇸🇬 เมื่อคืนนี้ พบว่า
.
ผู้ติดเชื้อในท้องถิ่นเพิ่มขึ้นในวันที่ 28 กย ถึง 2,226 คน ซึ่งแม้จะเป็นไปตามคาดของรัฐบาล แต่ก็สร้างความเดือดดาลให้ชาวเนตสิงคโปร์เป็นอย่างยิ่ง โดยเฉพาะเมื่อมีผู้เปรียบเทียบกับญี่ปุ่น 🇯🇵 ที่มีขนาดของประเทศใหญ่กว่ามาก แต่กลับมีจำนวนผู้ติดเชื้อรายวันทั้งประเทศราว 1,700+ คน

นอกจากนี้ สิงคโปร์ยังพบผู้เสียชีวิตจากโควิดเพิ่มขึ้นอีก 5 คน รวม 85 คน

ทั้งหมดเป็นผู้สูงอายุและมีโรคประจำตัว มีจำนวน 2 รายที่ฉีดวัคซีนโควิดครบแล้ว ทำให้สถิติผู้เสียชีวิตจากโควิดแม้จะฉีดวัคซีนครบแล้วในสิงคโปร์ มีจำนวน 11 คนแล้ว ทั้งหมดคือผู้สูงอายุและมีโรคประจำตัว

อนึ่ง ข้อมูลการฉีดวัคซีนโควิดในสิงคโปร์ล่าสุด (27 กย) พบว่า จากประชาการทั้งหมด
85% ฉีดวัคซีนอย่างน้อย 1 เข็มแล้ว
82% ฉีดครบ 2 เข็มแล้ว
โดยจำนวนวัคซีนที่ฉีดทั้งหมดราว 9.13 ล้านโดส 98% คือ วัคซีนชนิด mRNA (ไฟเซอร์และโมเดอร์น่า) ส่วน 2% ที่เหลือ คือ ซิโนแวคและซิโนฟาร์ม

พบผู้ติดเชื้อโควิดรายหนึ่ง เป็นชายวัย 22 ปี เดินทางออกจากฮ่องกงราวกลางเดือน เม.ย. 64 และเพิ่งกลับมาฮ่องกงจากเซอร์เบียในวันที่ 12 กย

เค้าได้เข้ากักตัวและตรวจหาเชื้อตามกระบวนการผลเป็นลบ จากนั้นเมื่อสิ้นสุดระยะเวลากักตัว 14 วันในวันที่ 26 กย เค้าได้เข้าสู่กระบวนการเฝ้าระวังตัวเองในบ้านพัก และตรวจหาเชื้อในวันที่ 27 กย คราวนี้ผลตรวจเป็นบวก พร้อมค่าระดับไวรัสไม่สูงนัก (ct value มากกว่า 30) และไม่แสดงอาการ

ตามประวัติของเค้า เคยได้รับวัคซีนโควิชีลด์ครบ 2 เข็มแล้วในเดือน กค จากอินเดีย และเคยติดเชื้อโควิดมาก่อนในอินเดียในเดือน เม.ย, สธ ฮ่องกงระบุเบื้องต้นให้เป็นเคสติดเชื้อซ้ำจากต่างประเทศ

เนื่องจากเค้าตรวจพบเชื้อในฮ่องกงระหว่างเฝ้าระวังตัวในที่พัก สธ จึงทำการล็อคดาวน์ตึกที่พัก คือ Two Island Place, 55 Tanner Road, North Point เมื่อคืนนี้ และตรวจหาเชื้อผู้พักอาศัยทั้งหมด

หลังจากพบผู้ติดเชื้อคนที่ 65 และ 66 เมื่อวันศุกร์และเสาร์ที่ผ่านมา (24 และ 25 กย) ซึ่งทั้งสองเป็นเจ้าหน้าที่รักษาความปลอดภัยของโรงแรมกักตัว Golden Crown China Hotel จนทำให้มาเก๊าตัดสินใจปูพรมตรวจโควิดทั้งเมืองอีกครั้งเป็นเวลา 3 วัน และเพิ่งสิ้นสุดไปเมื่อวานนี้ (28 กย)

ล่าสุด ในวันที่ 28 กย สธ มาเก๊าประกาศพบผู้ติดเชื้อในท้องถิ่นเพิ่มอีก 4 คน โดย 3 คน ยังคงเป็น จนท รักษาความปลอดภัยของ รร Golden Crown China Hotel ส่วนอีกคนหนึ่ง ก็เป็น จนท รักษาความปลอดภัยในโรงแรมเช่นกัน แต่เป็น รร Treasure Hotel

ทำให้ขณะนี้ มาเก๊าพบผู้ติดเชื้อสะสมแล้วทั้งหมด 71 คน

Berhijrah ke Dubai (I)

Tahun 2008 pembuka tirai kehidupan & pencetus perubahan dunia. Apa yang saya maksudnya? Saya sudah kerap berulang alik ke Dubai hampir setiap minggu. Keletihan. Saya juga dapat melihat potensi Dubai sebagai destinasi baru syarikat saya Amanie Advisors.

Mulai awal tahun, saya sudah mula tanam benih minat & impian melebarkan sayap syarikat ke Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Saya ingin ada syarikat & ofis di DIFC. Hati dah bulat. Impian dah memikat.

Di awal bulan Ogos 2008, saya menghantar permohonan menubuhkan syarikat. Saya & Makhtar Abdullah berada di sana secara fizikal bagi menguruskan urusan incorporation. Beliau adalah staff pertama saya di Dubai. Kami tinggal di Hotel Ibis, Dubai World Trade Centre. Internat belum meluas lagi masa itu. Sepanjang hari, kami bekerja di lobi hotel Novotel yang terletak bersebelahan sebab ada coverage. Kami bekerja di mana saja walaupun di bawah tangga.

Setelah 3 hari permohonan di hantar, kami mendapat berita permohonan diluluskan. Saya amat gembira. Saya tidak tahu langsung peristiwa hitam yang bakal menyerang dunia selepas 2 minggu. DIFC juga hebat. Permohonan cepat lulus. Disediakan juga seorang pegawai untuk uruskan visa kami, urusan bank, urusan kesihatan & juga urusan sewa pejabat. Mereka sudah amalkan personalised solution untuk tarik pelancung & juga pekerja serta pelabur.

Semua berjalan lancar. Cuma satu masalah. Ofis di bangunan DIFC (seperti dalam foto) telah penuh. Ini era kemuncak Dubai & DIFC. Syarat incorporation di DIFC kena ada ofis fizikal di kawasan yang telah digazetkan. Antaranya ofis di Emirates Tower bersebelahan DIFC. Saya tidak ada pilihan. Terpaksa menyewa sebuah pejabat paling kecil berkeluasan tidak lebih 3 meter persegi dengan sewaan yang mahal gila. Hampir RM25,000 sebulan (foto ofis dilampirkan). Memang terduduk.

Saya & Makhtar teruja bekerja kuat. Syarikat saya adalah antara syarikat milik orang Malaysia yang terawal di DIFC. Kami mula merancang membawa keluarga masing2 ke Dubai di hujung tahun. Saya sudah mula mencari kereta & pemandu keluarga & syarikat. Ini betul2 satu transformasi dalam kehidupan. Hijrah.

For this episode, we went to The Line to destroy their AYCE Luxury Seafood Buffet! The Line is a Buffet Restaurant at the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel that serves food from a wide variety of cuisines, allowing you to sample Indian, Thai, Western and Singaporean cuisine all at one location. They also have themed nights like Japanese and Seafood Harvest, and in this video, we came on Seafood Harvest night. Due to Covid-19, there is no longer a buffet spread to choose from but a menu where you order by dish, a la Minute. They conveniently provide a QR code which you can scan with your phone and order. Their Seafood Platter caught our eye but it turned out to be rather small (intentionally on their part) and would have taken us forever while greatly inconveniencing the staff to serve us an adequate quantity. They graciously acceded to our request for a bigger portion and wheeled out a humongous bowl filled with all the components of the Seafood Platter and with additional Sashimi.

The Giant Seafood Platter consisted of Boston Lobsters, Prawns, Mussels, Oysters, Snow Crab Legs, Snow Crab Claws, Clams and Scallops. It came garnished with lemons and 3 types of sauces, a vinegar sauce, a tabasco-based sauce and a cocktail sauce. While the seafood were largely fresh and juicy, they came with a fluctuating quality. Some were cooked to perfection while others were overdone and rubbery. The prawns were the best part, plump, rarely overcooked and went heavenly with the cocktail sauce.

Furthermore, we sampled the breadth of the options at this buffet, ordering the Western, Singaporean and Lebanese options plus dessert. The standouts would be the Wagyu Beef Bolognese and the Sambal Sotong. The pasta was al dente and the meat sauce was rich with a faux creaminess developed by hours on the pot. The sambal sotong was extremely tender and heavily coated in a delicious, spicy dressing while also pairing well with the sweet and vinegary sauce that came with it.

However, some of the food were rather disappointing like the Oyster Omelette, which was rather bland and came without the signature Oyster Omelette chilli sauce. The Angus Sirloin was also nothing to shout about, a touch on the under seasoned side and lacking flavour. The desserts were the most consistent, all of them being above average at the minimum. I enjoyed the Salty Caramel Choux Puff and the American Cheesecake. The Durian Cake would be a real treat for durian lovers as it had an intense durian flavour to it.

All in all, I certainly ate my money’s worth for a $120 Seafood Buffet. Although there were highs and lows, I still enjoyed the experience and pushed myself to destroy this buffet. The portions here are on the smaller side so as to allow you to order a greater variety and sample as many dishes that The Line has to offer. If you are feeling ravenous yet uncertain about what exactly to eat, look no further than the buffet at The Line!
