What a lovely St Cross College Reunion in Hong Kong. I am particularly delighted to meet Master Carole Souter (again!), the Development and External Relations Manager Victoria Cox and a number of young and old alumni.
Another highlight is to reconnect with Prof. Joseph Poon, who read his doctorate at St Cross and was my supervisor for my final year long translation project in 2006 at HKU. After 12 years, I finally managed to thank Prof. Poon in person for giving a “B” for my incomplete translated work (“The Invention of Peace” by Michael Howard) submitted after the deadline!
