During lunchtime,
I passed a few restaurants while strolling down the street from Oxford circus to Soho; just as I decided to cook back in the dorm, I saw a tiny restaurant decorated with aqua blue in front of my eyes.
“Is this your first time here?”
on my left-hand side, asked a British girl who was also having lunch on her own. “Though I have a small appetite, the pasta here isn’t enough for me without having their appetizer. But it’s because pasta isn’t the main course for Italian. Their eating habit is so different from British!”
“That’s interesting to know! I just heard it for the first time.”
Sitting in front of the bar and observing the environment in the restaurant, I decided none of my meals today; since it was my first time here, why not asked the server for their recommendation? It was also enjoyable to have a blind tasting under the situation that you wouldn’t know if you’d like the dishes or not.
What drove my attention was the sink in the toilet.
“Please step the pedal.”
There wasn’t faucet on the sink, only the pedal in the bottom to step on and squeeze out the water.
What I love about being alone is that you will never know who and what you would encounter.
