📰 Chinese pork snacks found in Taiwan amid African swine fever fears
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Chinese pork snacks have been seized in Kinmen and Hsinchu counties as Taiwan ramps up its crackdown on meat products from overseas over the risk of disease.
Over 100 packets of pork snacks from China have been impounded on the outlying island of Kinmen and in Hsinchu in joint raids, according to the Kinmen Police Bureau. The operation followed an investigation into Chinese meat products, including sausages smuggled into the country and hawked online, wrote CNA.
Taiwan has banned the import of meat products to prevent African swine fever (ASF), which has swept through Africa, Europe, China, South Korea, and many Southeast Asian countries over the past three years, per the Central Emergency Operation Center.
The suspects busted in the operation are believed to have profited from selling the illegal products on e-commerce platforms since the Lunar New Year, allegedly violating the Statute for Prevention and Control of Infectious Animal Diseases.
Sausages dumped at border checkpoints by arriving visitors have been found to carry ASF strains. Importing merchandise that is subject to inspection risks a sentence of up to seven years and a maximum fine of NT$3 million (US$105,000), the authorities warned.
Taiwan’s Coast Guard has stepped up patrols following the discovery of a pig carcass in a harbor in New Taipei on Sunday (April 4). The dead pig, confirmed to have been infected with the ASF virus, is the first such case ever reported in Taiwan and is believed to have drifted here from China.

Ni sharing dari Ustazah Asma' Harun. Ustazah kata, dia buat hari hari kat setiap anak anak beliau.
Buat dulu dengan konsisten. Nanti kita akan nampak hasilnya.
Amalan ringkas ni kita boleh buat sebelum anak-anak kita pergi sekolah dan sebelum tidur.
Ye lah.
Caranya pulak memang senang jek kita nak buat. Letakkan tapak tangan kita atas kepala anak kita dan baca 3 ayat ayat ni;
.
.
.
.
2. Baca Ar-Rahman ayat 1-4.
Tuhan Yang Maha Pemurah
Yang mengajarkan Al-Quran.
Mengajarnya pandai berbicara
“Jagalah Allah, Allah akan menjagamu
.
.
Bila baca makna ayat ayat ni, memang deep sungguh sungguh kan.

This is sharing from Ustazah Asma ' Harun. Ustazah said, he does every day to his children.
Do it first consistently. Later we will see the results.
We can do this simple practice before our children go to school and before going to bed.
Yeah, well. We as a mother, must try our best for our children.
The way is easy for us to do. Put our palm on our child's head and read these 3 sentences;
.
.
1. Oh God, may he protect us from 3 x
(The one who keeps, the one who preserves)
(In heart, we pray; O ALLAH, keep my child, O ALLAH. I leave my son in your care and oversight.
.
.
2. Read Ar-Rahman verse 1-4.
, The Most Merciful
The Most Gracious God
The flag of the Quran
Which teaches the Quran.
The creation of the Sanaan
He created human beings
(In our hearts we pray, which makes my child a human being, make him a human being)
Teach him the statement
Teaching him good at talking
(In the heart, we pray; Teach my child this Al-Bayan knowledge, clear knowledge, skill to speak, skill to gain knowledge, practice knowledge)
.
.
3. Finally we order our children,
May Allah protect you
′′ Keep Allah, Allah will guard you
.
.
When reading the meaning of this sentence, it's really deep right. Actually, indirectly, we also tell ourselves.
Whatever it is, give our affairs to Allah. Indeed, Allah is All Knowing.
Hopefully this sharing is beneficial for mothers out there.
You can also tag other mothers so that we can practice it together, InsyaAllah.

She who talks much, errs much.
一、Webster's Dictionary of English Usage (1989) 262頁
Comma between subject and predicate.
It is no longer cricket 〔按:n. 正人君子之舉;合度的行為〕 to separate the subject and predicate with punctuation. “How,” asks Simon 1980 rhetorically, “can one possibly separate the subject... from the predicate ... by a comma?” The comma between subject and predicate is an old convention that has fallen into disuse and disfavor. It was common in the 18th century:
What Methods they will take, is not for me to prescribe —Jonathan Swift, “A Proposal for Correcting, Improving and Ascertaining the English Tongue,” 1712
The words for all that, seem too low —Murray 1795
The first thing to be studied here, is grammatical propriety —Murray 1795
This comma is now universally frowned on and tends to be found only as a vice of comic-strip writers, advertisers, and others who are not on their guard. You should avoid the practice.
二、The Sense of Styles, Steven Pinker
Still, a few common errors are so uncontroversial—the run-on sentence, the comma splice, the grocer's apostrophe, the comma between subject and predicate, the possessive it's—that they have become tantamount to the confession “I am illiterate,” and no writer should be caught making them. As I mentioned, the problem with these errors is not that they betray an absence of logical thinking but that they betray a history of inattention to the printed page. In the hope that an ability to distinguish the logical and illogical features of punctuation may help a reader master both, I'll say a few words about the design of the system, highlighting the major bugs that have been locked into it.

For those who were there at McDonough Gymnasium on August 4, 1994, few will forget the arrival of a 6-0 freshman guard who needed no introduction. The rumors of Allen Iverson's arrival to the Kenner Summer League were true, and by game's end, Iverson had scored 40 points. By the Sunday afternoon final, before an overflow crowd inside the gym and a crowd of those outside who could not get in, Iverson finished a combined 99 point effort in three days against some of the best collegiate talent in the city. This, of course, from a player that had not played organized basketball in over a year. The Allen Iverson years had begun. A brief profile can't do justice to tell the story of one of the greatest pure athletes ever to attend Georgetown, a man without peer in his talent over two years at the collegiate level. Just a year before his Kenner debut, few would have imagined Allen Iverson ever playing college basketball. Iverson was not only a 31 point a game guard for Bethel HS, but a football player of tremendous skill. As a quarterback and defensive back his sophomore season, he produced nearly 1,600 yards offense and 13 INT's. By his junior year, he accounted for 2,204 yards, 21 touchdowns by rush or interception, and 14 touchdown passes. In a region which has produced NFL quarterbacks such as Michael Vick and Aaron Brooks, there are those who will still say "Bubbachuck" Iverson was better than both of them. Schools such as Arkansas, Kentucky, Duke, and three dozen other top programs across two sports were vying for perhaps the greatest two-sport star the Tidewater had ever produced. When he led Bethel to the state title, someone asked what it was like to win the title. "I'm going to get one in basketball now," which he did. In late February, 1993, en route to the state title he had promised, Iverson was one of a large group of Bethel teammates at a Hampton bowling alley when a fight broke out between students from rival schools trading racial insults. Three people were hurt in the aftermath. Despite conflicting testimony from eyewitnesses and no clear evidence linking him to the crime, Iverson was one of four black students arrested. Racial tensions were heightened when the prosecutors passed on a misdemeanor assault charge and charged Iverson with three counts of felony "maiming by mob", which carried a 20 year prison sentence. Despite video evidence which did not place Iverson in the crowd at the time of the fight, he was convicted in a racially charged case. The 20 year sentence was later reduced to five, and Iverson was granted clemency by Gov. Douglas Wilder three months later, sending Iverson to a detention program at an alternative high school. (The original charges were thrown out by the Virginia court of appeals in 1995.) In the spring of 1994, with Iverson still in detention, his mother approached John Thompson with a plea to help her son get to college and start a new chapter of his life. Though Thompson had passed on a number of troubled players in the past, he offered Iverson a scholarship in April of that season, contingent upon his completion of high school and his legal release, which was granted 48 hours before his Kenner debut. By his debut in a Georgetown uniform in November 1994, Iverson had been the subject of intense national media attention. In the Hoyas' annual exhibition with Fort Hood, Iverson scored 36 points, five assists, and three steals in 23 minutes. Local columnists were in awe. "Hang his number up in the rafters," wrote Tom Knott of the Washington Times. "He's better than most of the point guards in the NBA right now."
