【一天分享一首歌之第51天】〈Child of Snow〉/ 坂本美雨
今日的天氣急凍，來聽一首保證又是我個人私藏的愛曲。1999年，高倉健演出降旗康男的《鐵道員》，講一個獨自守護一條即將廢線的鐵道末站的小站長，盡忠職守的故事。電影片尾，主題曲〈鉄道員〉由坂本龍一作曲，他的女兒坂本美雨演唱，我因為這首歌去買了後者的個人專輯，這才發現輯裡有它的英文版，聽了更是加倍喜歡。
「what is sadder than the sound of winter winds that blow / through icy moments lived alone ? / tell me, have you seen the child of snow ?」不是溫暖的天使，而是超然的大地精靈或大地之母，這嗓音給我一種疏離卻慈悲的印象——但她明明是個青少女歌手哪！坂本美雨在那幾年，成為我特別認真追的日本音樂人，她的專輯超難買因為台灣根本沒有進，只能在去日本旅遊的時候碰運氣找找看。十多年後的現在，我幾乎都要忘了，在這個被記憶擊中的夜晚，才想起曾有這樣一張CD躺在我櫃裡。
