參加咗The Singleton Hong Kong 最新推出嘅「The Singleton of Glen Ord Sherry Cask 12 year old 」蘇格蘭單一麥芽威士忌晚宴，係St. Regis 酒店舉行，請來星級名廚Justin Quek為威士忌設計5道菜晚餐，仲有音樂同舞蹈表演，非常華麗嘅盛宴！入過3個桶嘅Sherry Cask 12年，包括雪梨桶及波本桶及最後再放入雪梨桶，味道非常甜美，帶蜜糖、拖肥、雲尼拿、提子乾、橙皮、朱古力、海鹽等味道。🤩🥃🎉菜式設計同每款威士忌都好夾，我最喜歡新加坡胡椒龍蝦配15年威士忌，將威士忌嘅香料味再放大，很有趣嘅配搭！Cheers!🥃
Attended the launch of “The Singleton of Glen Ord Sherry Cask 12 year old” single malt whisky launch dinner at St. Regis HK. They invited renowned celebrity chef Justin Quek to design a 5-course menu to pair with @The Singleton whisky. With music and dance performance, the whole experience is so elegant & extravagant! The newly launched Sherry Cask 12 year old whisky has been matured in 3 casks, including Sherry cask, Bourbon cask and then finished in Sherry cask. It’s sweet and rich, with honey, toffee, vanilla, raisin, orange peel, chocolate & sea salt notes. 🤩🎉🥃 The dishes match well with whiskies. I like the pepper lobster (inspired by Singaporean pepper crab) with 15 year old whisky most, where it brings out more of the spices notes of the whisky! Interesting! Cheers! 🥃😋
