สำหรับผู้ที่จะมาทำโปรเจคตัวนี้ก็คือ บาส-นัฐวุฒิ พูนพิริยะ และเควิน ตันเจริญ คนแรกอ่ะไม่กังขาในฝีมือเท่าไหร่ แต่คนหลังนี่เคยกำกับหนังฮอลลีวู้ดเรื่อง Fame ไว้หลายปีก่อนคือพินาศมาก ผลงานลุ่มๆดอนๆ ดีบ้างไม่ดีบ้าง แต่ส่วนตัวเชื่อมือ บาส-นัฐวุฒิ มากกว่า ส่วนนักแสดงที่จะมาเป็นโค้ชเอกก็คือ บีม ปภังกร ฤกษ์เฉลิมพจน์ พระเอกเรื่องเคว้งนี่แหละ
ปฏิบัติการกู้ชีพถ้ำหลวงจะถูกสร้างออกมาในรูปแบบลิมิเต็ดซีรีส์ นั่นคือดูไปยาวๆกี่ตอนไม่รู้จบเลยทีเดียวไม่มีต่อ โดยทางNetflix ประกาศรายชื่อทีมผู้สร้างและนักแสดงสำหรับลิมิเต็ดซีรีส์ที่ดัดแปลงจากเรื่องราวอันน่าทึ่งของภารกิจกู้ชีพที่ถ้ำหลวง ซึ่งได้ตราตรึงทุกสายตาทั่วโลกมาแล้ว โดยลิมิเต็ดซีรีส์เรื่องนี้มีแผนที่จะถ่ายทำในภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย และสร้างจากเหตุการณ์จริงของภารกิจอันยาวนานกว่า 2 สัปดาห์ในการค้นหาและช่วยเหลือนักฟุตบอลเยาวชนพร้อมด้วยโค้ชทีมหมูป่าอะคาเดมีรวม 13 ชีวิต ออกมาจากถ้ำที่น้ำท่วมสูงในปี 2018
โปรเจกต์นี้อยู่ภายใต้ความดูแลของผู้จัดและผู้อำนวยการสร้างมากฝีมืออย่าง ดาน่า เลอดูซ์ มิลเลอร์ (Dana Ledoux Miller) เจ้าของผลงานซีรีส์ Designated Survivor และ Lodge 49 และ ไมเคิล รัสเซลล์ กันน์ (Michael Russell Gunn) จากซีรีส์ Billions และ Designated Survivor พร้อมสมทบด้วยทีมผู้กำกับ ได้แก่ “บาส-นัฐวุฒิ พูนพิริยะ” จากภาพยนตร์ Bad Genius (ฉลาดเกมส์โกง) และ One for the Road ที่จะมารับหน้าที่กำกับตอนแรกของซีรีส์ และ “เควิน ตันเจริญ” ผู้กำกับจากซีรีส์ Warrior และ Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. โดยที่ผู้กำกับทั้งสองคนยังควบบทบาทเป็นผู้อำนวยการสร้างอีกด้วย
นอกจากนี้ ทีมงานเบื้องหลังยังมีผู้อำนวยการสร้างอย่าง จอห์น เปน็อตติ (John Penotti; จาก Crazy Rich Asians และ Palmer) จาก SK Global Entertainment, จอน เอ็ม. ชู (Jon M. Chu; จาก Crazy Rich Asians และ In the Heights) และ แลนซ์ จอห์นสัน (Lance Johnson; จาก Troop Zero และ The Magnificent Seven) จาก Electric Somewhere และสมทบด้วยจอห์น โลแกน เพียร์สัน (John Logan Pierson; จาก Spenser Confidential และ Mile 22) และทิม คอดดิงตัน (Tim Coddington; จาก Mulan และ Crazy Rich Asians)
สำหรับในฝั่งของนักแสดง นำทีมโดย “บีม-ปภังกร ฤกษ์เฉลิมพจน์” (เคว้ง) ในบทของ “โค้ชเอก” พร้อมด้วยนักแสดงหน้าใหม่ถึง 12 คนที่จะมาสวมบทสมาชิกทีมหมูป่า ได้แก่ ปรัชญา พาทอง, ธนพงศ์ กันทะวงค์, ทรงพล กันทะวงค์, ธนาวุฒิ เช่ตู่กู่, ฐปนต หัตถผะสุ, จักรพรรดิ ศรีสัตย์, ธนภัสสร์ พึ่งพุ่มแก้ว, ธีรภัทร สมแก้ว, รัฐภูมิ นาคีสถิตย์, วัชรพล ปวงสวรรค์, อภิสิทธิ์ แสงจันทร์ และอภิสิทธิ์ อยู่คำ
