Respawn ปล่อยภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชันในซีรีส์ Stories from the Outlands ของ Apex Legends ออกมาแล้วอีกครั้ง เผยโฉมตัวละครใหม่ “Seer” ที่จะเข้ามาปรากฏอยู่ใน Season ใหม่ของเกม ในชื่อ "Emergence"

จากตัวอย่าง จะเห็นได้ว่า Seer เป็นครึ่งไซบอร์คที่ร่างกายบางส่วนได้รับการดัดแปลง ตรงตามที่เคยมีข้อมูลหลุดออกมาก่อนหน้านี้ ซึ่งเขาจะใช้ Microdrone และดวงตาแห่งความเป็นศิลปินในการหาโอกาสกำราบศัตรูอย่างงดงามที่สุด เท่าที่จะสามารถทำได้

และในช่วงท้ายวิดีโอ ก็มีการประกาศไว้ชัดเจนว่าจะมีตัวอย่าง Launch Trailer ของ Season ล่าสุดออกมาให้ชมภายในงาน EA Play Live ด้วย ซึ่งที่จะมีขึ้นในวันที่ 22 กรกฎาคม

จากรายงานของ Apex Legends News บน Twitter ระบุว่า ในรายละเอียดของวิดีโอตัวอย่างใหม่ของ Apex Legends ที่เป็นการเปิดตัว Season 8 และตัวละครใหม่นามว่า Fuse ในเวอร์ชันญี่ปุ่น มีการระบุว่า เกม Battle Royale ชื่อดังจาก Respawn Entertainment จะเปิดให้เล่นอย่างเป็นทางการบน Nintendo Switch ในวันที่ 2 ก.พ. 2021 ซึ่งเป็นวันเดียวกับที่เริ่มต้น Season 8 ของเกมนี้บน PlayStation, Xbox และ PC

ซึ่ง Season 8 เป็นอัปเดตฉลองครบรอบ 2 ปี ของการเปิดให้บริการ Apex Legends ที่ตัวเกมเปิดให้เล่นฟรีครั้งแรกเมื่อวันที่ 4 ก.พ. ปี 2019 ซึ่งเดิมทีทาง Respawn เคยประกาศว่า Apex Legends จะลงให้กับเครื่องคอนโซลลูกผสมของ Nintendo ในช่วงกลางปี 2020 แต่ก็ถูกเลื่อนและเงียบหายไปนานถึงครึ่งปีเต็มๆ

อย่างไรก็ตาม รายละเอียดที่ระบุว่า Apex Legends จะเปิดให้บริการบน Nintendo Switch นั้น มีแต่ใน Trailer ของเวอร์ชันญี่ปุ่นเท่านั้น ในขณะที่ เวอร์ชันอังกฤษ ไม่มีส่วนนี้อยู่ในรายละเอียดของวิดีโอ จึงเป็นไปได้ที่จะเป็นการลงข้อมูลที่ผิดพลาด นั่นทำให้เราต้องรอทาง Respawn Entertainment ประกาศอย่างเป็นทางการต่อไป
