โดยมีนักขุดข้อมูลค้นพบไฟล์ภายในเกม Fortnite ที่มีรายละเอียดน่าสนใจต่างๆ อาทิ สถานที่ธีม Marvel ที่กำลังจะเพิ่มให้กับเกม รวมไปถึงสถานที่ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับตัวละคร Black Panther ที่ทำให้แฟนๆ จำนวนมากเชื่อว่า ราชาแห่ง Wakanda อาจจะเข้ามาร่วมวงในเกม ช่วงใดช่วงหนึ่งของ Season นี้

นอกจากนี้นักขุดข้อมูลนามว่า HYPEX ได้ค้นพบโลโก้ของ Spider-Man ใน Achievements ตัวหนึ่งของ Season 4 รวมไปถึงนักขุดข้อมูลนามว่า Shiina ที่ได้กล่าวถึง Carnage ศัตรูตัวฉกาจของ Spider-Man ก็มีการอ้างอิงใน Achievements ด้วย และนั่นก็หมายความว่า นอกเหนือจาก Spider-Man และ Carnage แล้ว Venom ก็อาจจะตามมาลงให้กับ Fortnite ด้วยก็เป็นไปได้

Epic Games ได้ประกาศว่า ชุมชนชาวเกม Fortnite ทั้งหมดกำลังจะได้เล่นร่วมกัน เป็นเวลาอีกไม่กี่วันแล้ว เพราะทาง Apple ได้แบน Fortnite ออกจาก App Store และทำให้ผู้เล่นเกมนี้บน iOS ไม่สามารถอัปเดตตัวเกมเป็นเวอร์ชันใหม่ได้อีก ส่งผลให้ผู้เล่น Fortnite บน iOS จะอยู่ที่เนื้อหาคอนเทนต์ใน Chapter 2 - Season 3 ในขณะที่ ผู้เล่นบนแพลตฟอร์มอื่นๆ กำลังจะได้ไปยัง Chapter 2 - Season 4 ในวันที่ 27 ส.ค. นี้

โดยผู้เล่นสามารถเข้าร่วมแข่งขัน #FreeFortnite Cup ได้ที่หัวข้อ Compete ในหน้าเมนูหลัก ซึ่งการแข่งนี้จะเล่นกัน 4 ชั่วโมง และผู้ที่เข้าร่วมจะมีโอกาสได้รับรางวัลต่างๆ จากการแข่งแบบ Solo ได้สูงสุด 12 ตา ที่จะมีการนับคะแนนดังนี้

- เอาตัวรอดได้ทุกๆ 3 นาที จะได้ 1 แต้ม
- ทุกครั้งที่สังหารศัตรูจะได้ 1 แต้ม
- ได้ Victory Royale หรือชนะในตานั้น จะได้ 10 แต้ม

ผู้ที่ทำคะแนนได้ 10 แต้ม จะได้รับชุด Tart Tycoon (ตามภาพ) ซึ่งเป็นตัวละครที่ปรากฎในวิดีโอที่ทาง Epic ทำล้อเลียนโฆษณายุคปี 1984 ของ Apple ในช่วงแรกที่ Fortnite ถูกแบนออกจาก App Store และผู้ที่ทำคะแนนสูงสุด 20,000 อันดับแรกทั่วโลก จะได้รับหมวก FreeFortnite ส่งตรงให้ถึงที่บ้าน
