The guards of foreign workers are doing their part.
During the epidemic, the rule of entering any store is that you must scan your mobile phone to allow you to enter. It is because you forgot to bring your mobile phone. The guards, of course, ask you to fill in the information. The lady doesn't want one to use the pen to fill in the information is unhygienic and easy to be infected. Who is responsible for the infection? Is it your foreign worker guard dog at the door responsible?
You see, this kind of woman who has no tutoring and self-cultivation has no standard of speaking at all! You are wearing beautiful clothes, so how beautiful is your whole body dressed up with famous brands?Being impolite and disrespecting others, personality is simply 0 points!
As a righteous, when I heard such a curse, I said that if you think he is a dog, then you are also a bitch, and a bitch that keeps barking because we are all the same kind!
There is no distinction between high and low occupations. Is rude to can't use such words to insult and despise people. It's really too much! People are just doing their responsibilities in their job only!

Foreigners who live and work here contribute to our economy and society. They are very much a part of our local community.
Yesterday in Parliament, Lawrence Wong moved a motion for Singapore to stay open in a globalised world. He also asked Parliament to support the government’s management of the foreign work pass numbers, and to deplore the spreading of misinformation about FTAs like the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) to stir up racism and xenophobia.
Our policies on foreign workers have created many jobs and opportunities. Still, Singaporeans are anxious and concerned about competition from the foreigners working here. We are addressing these concerns, and the problems caused by having a large foreign population in our midst. But as I said at the National Day Rally recently, we must remain open and welcoming to foreigners. If we turn inwards and become hostile to them, it would ruin us as a global hub and cost us investments and jobs (https://go.gov.sg/ndr2021-el).
The debate stretched past midnight. It was an important debate. At stake were not just our policies on foreigners, but the values of our society, and our confidence and resolve to face an uncertain world, and chart our way forward together.
I am glad MPs took a firm and unequivocal stance against racism and xenophobia, and firmly rejected attempts to use Singaporeans’ fears and anxieties to divide and weaken us. It bodes well for our future. – LHL

Yesterday’s National Day Rally at Mediacorp was my 17th rally speech, but the first time done through a hybrid format. Apart from the small studio audience, some 1,800 attendees joined in through Zoom, with their faces appearing on a massive screen that wrapped around the studio.
In my speech, I spoke about how we are strengthening support for lower wage workers, and addressed concerns over foreign work pass holders. I also touched on race and religion, which is a constant work in progress especially here in Singapore.
COVID-19 will not be our last crisis. But I’m confident Singapore has what it takes to face any trials head on and prevail as one united people. We’ve done it before, and we’ll do it again! 🇸🇬

?? This is Mong Cai central market. It may look like a normal market from the outside and inside, but trust me, this market is one of a kind. According to recourses I read before visiting this market, most of the stalls used to have two workers - 1 Vietnamese and 1 Chinese, in order to communicate with the large number of both Vietnamese and Chinese tourists. Many of the workers speak Cantonese as well, due to Mong Cai being on the border with a Cantonese speaking province of China, Guangxi. However, the market is now almost deserted due to covid, since Vietnam isn't allowing any foreign tourists to enter. Still Max and I found some interesting people and had some funny conversations in English, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, and some random alien language. Come with us on this market hunt.

Better exchange rates when you remit to MLhuillier, Cebuana Lhuillier, Palawan and LBC Express, as well as directly to the accounts of major banks, like BPI, Security Bank, Union Bank, UCPB. Check out the rest of the banks here: https://dash.com.sg/remit
