上兩個星期同爸爸去 caravan-ing。當時我哋隔離有呢啲花而日落前，啲光比較靚。見到每日喺日落前都會有啲雀仔嚟食花粉，我就近距離坐定定，完全唔郁，用部相機嚟遮住塊面等佢哋嚟。幸好都俾我影到幾張好相。呢張就係其中一張。無乜執過 😁

A couple of weeks ago, we went with my dad on a caravan trip. Next to our caravan were these flowers and the light just before sunset was very nice. When I noticed birds coming around to feed on the nectar every day around sunset, I decided to sit close to the flowers very still with the camera hiding my face from the birds and wait for them. Luckily, I was able to get several very nice photos. This is one of them. Basically no touch-up has been applied 😁

there’s a husky-sized hole in my heart right now. cleo you were the goodest girl, up til the very end. 13 years of your heckin’ licking and loving and booping and splooting. i know you couldn’t do it on your last days, but i bet you zoomed across that rainbow bridge with your tongue out. look at all the squirrels and birds you can chase now, with no leash!! we love you always cleo. feed you all the apples again soon.

Trogons are residents of tropical forests throughout the world. They have colourful soft feathers with distinct plumage and feed on insects and fruit. Whitehead’s trogon, however, is endemic to Borneo, They have beautiful colouring, males are predominately bright red while females like this beauty pictured are mostly tan-orange. Both have a silverish neck and chest area.⁠

ABOUT LAKETOWN ECOPARK

Welcome to Mother Nature’s favourite holiday attraction – the Bukit Merah Laketown Ecopark.
A 3-acre eco-friendly sanctuary, the park features three large enclosures – Nature Trail, Reptile Park and Tropical Trek, with a variety of reptile, primate, mammal, bird and fish species in an environment as close to their natural habitat. In addition, there is also a Pets Park.
The Ecopark is an educational tourism facility where visitors get to experience close encounter with the animals. Visitors are encouraged to interact with some of the animals for an educational and fun experience.
